    The following describes a government action that has been resolved by either a settlement or a decision by a court or administrative agency. If the matter is being appealed, it will be noted below.

    On April 26, 2024, Razer USA, Ltd entered into a Stipulated Order for Permanent Injunction, Monetary Judgement, Civil Penalty Judgment, and Other Relief with the Federal Trade Commision. The Order settles allegations that the business participated in deceptive acts or practices in the dissemination of false advertisements in or affecting commerce for the purpose of inducing , or which were likely to induce, the purchase of devices. Under terms of the Order, the business was ordered to be banned against COVID-19 prevention or treatment claims in connection with the manufacturing, labeling, advertising, promotion, offering for sale, sale, or distribution of any product, and are permanently restrained and enjoined from making any express or implied representation, whether acting directly or indirectly, in connection with the promoting or offering for sale of Protective Goods and Services, are permanently restrained and enjoined from making any representation, expressly or by implication, about the health benefits, performance, efficacy, safety, or side effects of Protective Goods and Services, unless the representation is non-misleading, including that, at the time such representation is made, Defendants possess competent and reliable scientific evidence substantiating that the representation is true, whether acting directly or indirectly, in connection with the manufacturing, labeling, advertising, promotion, offering for sale, sale, or distribution of any Protective Goods and Services, and are permanently restrained and enjoined from misrepresenting, in any manner, expressly or by implication that any Protective Goods and Services are affiliated with, endorsed,

    certified, cleared, authorized, approved by, registered, or otherwise connected to any government entity, including through the use of government logos or trademarks, meet certification standards established by any governmental entity when they have not been certified by that governmental entity, the total costs; any material restrictions, limitations, or conditions; or any material aspect of its performance, efficacy, nature, or central Characteristics. In addition, the business was ordered to pay a judgment for civil penalty in the amount of $100,000 and pay a judgment for monetary relief in the amount of $1,071,254.33.

      I purchased a Razer Gold card for ****** and the *** number on the card was smeared and it could not be used. I have filed at least 4-6 reports to Razer Gold regarding the issue. I have sent receipts as to how much I purchased, location and date, including the picture of the smeared pin. That is what they asked of me and I did it as requested. No satisfactory answers. All I want from them is the pin on the smeared card which Im sure they have records of all cards. The final insult was them sending me an email saying they resolved the issue. No they havent, no money returned or the pin. This is not the first time Ive had issues with the company.. I believe someone should be held accountable. Im sure Im not the only person who have had issues.

      They lack a customer service department. In order to receive any customer service at all you have you have to purchase a subscription to even talk to any representative. It evident that they don't want to help their customers, because their support Web page is set up in a way that to lead customers that need help in a loop. They have no phone number or email address to contact their customer on their website, that is easily accessible.I have to tried to get reach their customer support through different methods on their website. I was redirected and did not receive any response back. It has been a couple of weeks since then.Going forward I will not be purchasing anymore Razer products. I will be contributing repair guides to anywhere I can for what I find with my Razer products. This is all because Razer does not any customer service.
