On January 11, 2023, Wheaten Financial debited $895 from my business checking account for documentation fees after I received an approval with them to purchase a sleeper semi tractor trailer. The approval was the second one that I had received due to waiting for the truck to go through inspection with Penske. After almost a month and another $1800 I had to spend to get insurance and put together a 20% down payment, they then tell me that the financier would not fund the purchase of the truck. I was refunded my down payment. But not the documentation fee for documents I signed based on an approval that seems to have never been real. I spoke with them and asked them to refund all of the money that was sent to them since I sent it based on the premise that I was approved funding to take my business to the next level. I was met with disdain. I spent over $1300 on insurance for a truck I still dont have possession of that I had to have for this approved loan. I spent another $400 that I had to pay out of pocket to pull money for my down payment from my business credit cards. This company didnt care anything about that. They collected $895 for absolutely no reason at all and refuse to give it back.
