We hired this firm several months ago to handle a real estate issue involving a lender and their blatent negligence with regards to Californias COVID-19 Small Landlord and tenant relief act.They filed the case and appropriate files but have not responded and apparently missed the initial preceeding. The case is now up for dismissal, if the failure continues we will file a formal complaint with the California BAR association.I am a 100% total and permanent service connected combat veteran. The treatment we have received over the past several months has been dismal at best.Initial Complaint

I hired McFarlin LLP to help me fight my mortgage company. *************************** and I had a couple conversations and one with my Dad prior to hiring them to make sure they could help. He ensured us they could. On March 1st, 2022 I signed a contract and paid them a retainer of $5,000. At first the communication was great with the associates and one time ***. I called other times to talk to *** and was never able to because he wasnt available. They were supposed to file the approved complaint they wrote up, but never did. I started to hear from the mortgage company as theyre unlawfully foreclosing on my house, which was odd because they should be contacting my attorneys. They have never heard from the attorneys. I then started contacting them via email and phone multiple times a day and havent heard back in over three weeks. Other have tried to contact them as well with no luck. Now Im out months of time I thought this was progressing and $5000. I would really like to know what is going on!! I have also submitted a complaint via the state bar, but thats a long process for any kind of resolution. HELP!
