      This company is extremely shady and provided poor quality and incomplete services. When you complain, nothing improves. They do not meet the terms of their own contract and expect you to pay for services even when incomplete or not done at all. Save your money and buy your own spray at the store.

      After agreeing to a 1-year service contract a service person arrived and sprayed inside and outside of the house. We asked if we should leave the house since they were using so many chemicals and he assured us that this was not necessary, just open windows.So we stayed in the house, however overnight the smell and chemicals made both of us very ill, and this went on for 3 nights. I looked up the details of some of the chemicals they used (listed on their brochure) and they all recommended that you leave the premises during treatment.I called a week later to cancel, and left a message, no return call.Finally, after repeated calls, they returned my call and after explaining the situation told them I wanted to cancel the contract because of our reaction to their chemicals. The lady at Moxie aggressively stated that there would be a $170 cancellation fee and if we didn't pay they would submit to a collection agency. I restated that we were not going to pay a cancellation fee and would dispute the charges. Within one hour they had processed the $170.00 to our credit card.I should have read all of their reviews as this cancellation fee strategy of theirs is a recurring theme and a big part of the negative reviews.I'll see what I can do with my credit card company to dispute this.I do not recommend this company.

      Clearly a poor quality service and unethical or they wouldnt have to go door to door begging for business. Tried calling their office to complain, and no one responds, probably as they are all out scavenger hunting.

      Unfortunately we do not understand the complaint? Is the complaint that we have private contractors introducing people to our company? We love telling people about our service-its the best in the industry and something we are proud to share with anyone.I am not sure if this is for Moxie Pest Control directly, as we have an opportunity to leave a message. email or text 24 hours a day including holidays.Our private contractors are hardworking men and women who are confident that we are able to provide our customers with the best pest control service in any of our service areas.       I signed up for Moxie from a door to door salesman. I would normally pass on this approach, but we found a black widow in the garage just days before so the timing was excellent. I was offered a discount for being next door to an existing customer. Ok great, cool.. thank you. I was told that they would clean out spider webs on the first visit, but they are still alongside the house and in the garage where I saw the black widows. After the technician left he accidentally left a flyer showing "FREE INITIAL TREATMENT BOOK TODAY" Well looks like I got dooped by the salesman for simply a discount and not a free initial treatment. I called in to ask about the free initial treatment promotion and ask if I could have it applied to my account. I was told that this promotion is for referrals only and I would get a free treatment if I referred somebody now that I am a customer. There is absolutely nowhere on the flyer that says anything about referrals and if it was, how would I get a free initial treatment? You couldn't, I've already had it. I was straight up lied to, spinning it as a referral advertisement so they wouldn't have to honor the ad. There's nothing that states anything about referrals. Secondly, the customer service representative said she wasn't sure why the technician didn't clean out the spiderwebs, but would notate it for them to come during the next scheduled visit. I specially brought up the webs in the garage and a black widow spotting. We have little kids. They didn't even offer to come back and fix the issue. After being dismissed about my complaint I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and was told they had already discussed the issue and there was nothing they could do. After this, I asked to cancel and they said I would need to pay $170.00 for the discount I received off my initial service. You mean the free service I should have received for signing up? All this company cares about is getting you locked into an agreement and getting their money. T
