      Sealed Records (Truth Now LLC) deceptively entered me into a monthly subscription for $39.94 a month. I contacted customer service and was successful in cancelling this alleged subscription, but was unable to receive a refund. The representative and email following my cancellation both stated that the service notified me of entering into a contract after paying $1.00 to try the service- which is untrue. I received no such notification. None of my email inboxes have any records of notifications from Sealed Records until my cancellation, including my Spam. In fact, I had no knowledge of any billing from this company until my bank notified me of a questionable charge. It is unfortunate that this business practices in such a poor and deceptive manner. The customer service representative was also largely unhelpful, rude, and accusatory on our phone call.

      Since your membership was NOT canceled, you were charged a standard monthly membership fee of $39.94 as you had agreed to at the time of registration. Your account was cancelled and fully refunded after we received your refund request. You will no longer be charged.

      I had checked my bank account late last night and found a transaction of $40 taken from peoplesearchusa, which I never gave my information to and someone I assume had bought under my name. I went straight away to the website, called up some people and got it cancelled but I still paid for something I did not sign up for. I also researched this website and it said when signed up I was given a confirmation email of such that I did not get to then and there cancel my account someone used. Essentially someone used my information for fraud and I want my money back.

      You activated your membership from your phone at IP address 47.188.192.46 on 03/13/2024. Hopefully, this jogs your memory. You should be able to confirm this through your phone history.

      We have cancelled your account on your behalf and we have processed a full refund of $39.94. You will no longer be charged. Please allow 3 - 5 business days for your bank to process this refund. Hopefully this resolves all outstanding issues.       June 13, 2023 $39.94 A membership to ***************.org I do not want this membership so I requested a refund through email the same day the transaction took place. They cancelled my membership but are saying they can't refund me my money back unless I mail a letter to a shipping center in **********. But when you call the number to Truth Now LLC, which is ***************.org's finance department, the number that is on this site the call is transferred to check Order ID#: ************************

This is stated clearly, and directly above the button where you accept your agreement. It was also emailed directly to you in case you did not read the terms. Your membership was NOT canceled until after you started your membership. You were charged a standard monthly membership fee of $39.94 as you had agreed to at the time of registration. Your account is now cancelled, and will no longer be charged. We also provided instructions for receiving a full refund. A refund for $39.97 was credited to your account on 06/14/2023. Your bank may take 4-5 business days to process your credit. Please contact your bank to confirm that the full amount has been refunded. Hopefully this resolves all outstanding issues. If you still have questions about your refund, please contact your bank or call our customer support any day between 8am - 11pm EST. Thank you for your patience."

      Feb 11,2022 The amount is ****** I called requesting for a refund because i did not authorize the transaction. I was told i had to mail in a letter and that it would take 3 to 4 weeks. I dont have that kind of time. I asked to speak to a manager. This manager did not let me get a word in and told me mail in a letter i asked her why do i have to do all that. And she cut me off and told me that thats the process and that i would have to do it that way. I asked her to transfer me to accointng and was told that they cant transfer any calls to them. I asked her why not and she hung up. I called again and i had told the 2nd agent about what happen and she told me she would find a differnt manager to speak to. I was on hold for a little while and then got back on to the call and then she started to be really rude also. I trird to tell her that i had to speak to someone now because i wanted to report the manager. She told me that i had to wait for a call back. I never got to tell anyone that I had no knowledge about the first transaction. They were very rude and didn't let me get a word in a manager hung up on me.

Your membership was NOT canceled until Feb 11, 2022 almost 5 months past your trial expiration date. You were charged a standard membership of $39.94 as you had agreed to at the time of registration. Our records show that you opened 31 reports during the almost 5 months that we provided service for you. Despite your extended use of our service, we refunded $39.94 as a courtesy, on the day you first called us. Our call recordings show the agent left a voicemail explaining this, after you hung up on her. We take agent service very seriously, but after reviewing the recordings with senior management, we found no evidence of rude behavior by any of our agents.
