They sponsored this fishing trip and they said that they were going to give a bunch of give aways and including a fishing rod and the whole trip they didnt give anything away and I spoke to the owner and **** and the owner gave two different stories about the fishing trip and the fishing rod raffle and told me that they had law enforcement working on the boat and I just tried to talk to the owner and tried to resolve the issue and he didnt care and didnt even let me talkBusiness response

Thank you for forwarding this information and making us aware of the complain; we appreciate that very much! And as your official statement says "there's two sides to every dispute (story)" or better yet, three sides to every story, so here's the truth of the matter.
***************** and his companion apparently were the last to board the boat and the extra hats had already been given out so they were asked/told to send us an email or call us when they returned from the trip so that we could send them their hats. He never did. He called a month later to argue...
When he called, he was focused on (1) arguing that the rod hadn't been raffled (which it was) and (2)focused on threatening to report us to the BBB to which I replied that if that was what he wanted to do, I couldn't stop him and that we had nothing to hide so I would welcome an investigation into how we manage sponsored trips.
The sponsored trips are sold by the landings or boats, not us, and all proceeds go to them. We as a company don't get any monetary benefits. Sponsored trips allow us to promote our product and company with the passengers. We do "give aways" on All our sponsored trips as ****************** mentioned. Never do we promise "a bunch of give aways" as he claimed. The proof is that we don't take down our post/ads of our sponsored trips which are still found on our ******** page.The "giveaways" are hats, koozies, stickers and at times, other items we have that we give away to passengers on such trips to promote our brand.
Unfortunately, ****************** did not see the rod being raffled, but everyone else was there. Could it be he was drunk, or who knows what as I was informed since only he has complained about this...?!
We are a reputable company and have a solid reputation in the industry as you can see on our social media channels, website and square recommendations.
