    As far as the studio was concerned, I would have given a 5 star review. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and it had many amenities that made it extra. However, the business dealings turned it sour for me. I signed up for their membership, which is not cheap. She made it clear that I must sign up for a 2 month minimum. So I bit the bullet, not knowing if I would be able to take enough classes to make it worth it. My busy life made me late a few times which I was charged $15 for. If you are late, you miss the class. I read the material and saw that they had it was in their policy. So okay, I'm paying for the expensive membership and now these late fees! Yikes! But I was the one late so that's on me. Then I was charged for my second month and I knew I needed to cancel my membership so I wouldn't be charged again. I canceled 20 days before I was due to be charged for my third month but the policy is that you need to give them 30 days to cancel. I will paying for 3 months and will have only gone to 5 classes. Each class turning out to be a little over 100 dollars each. She would not agree to not charge me for the 3rd month that we had not started yet due to the studio running on the membership fees.I understand having policies to protect yourself but this was using these policies to ***** the client that dares to leave. It's legally unethical.

    Hello,Thank you for your feedback. The agreement that you signed does indicate that there is a 2 month commitment, and a 30 day notice to cancel. If you cancel less than 30 days out, your final payment would be due per that agreement. Our late policies are in place to protect members who want to book classes. If you reserve a class and dont attend, youre taking the spot that another person could have reserved. That is why we ask all members to cancel 8 hours in advance of the class with no penalty. This is pretty standard at most boutique fitness centers. Im sorry that you werent able to use the membership to its full value. We could have downgraded you to a lower membership if you needed. We are always open to feedback and pride ourselves on making sure every member who joins knows all the policies that are in place. We dont want there to be any surprises or for anyone to be upset. I would be happy to chat about this with you further if youd like.
