I have previously purchased a tanzanite ring from La Jolla Gems. As a returning customer, I emailed back and forth on **** on many occasions to come to an agreed upon price with La Jolla Gems for a ***** carat tanzanite necklace. At first, I was going to trade in the ring as part of the payment towards the necklace and we agreed on the ring + $4400. I submitted the offer, which the jewelry store accepted. I then decided that I didnt want to trade in the ring so I was going to simply purchase on my credit card on my statement closing date (6/3/22). La Jolla Gems and I agreed on $7800 + tax and a representative from the jewelry store said to submit the offer, which they would accept, and that I would then pay for it via credit card on 6/3 or 6/4. After reaching an agreed upon price and being told my offer would be accepted, but before I could submit the agreed upon offer, La Jolla Gems stopped responding to my messages, blocked me from submitting an offer on ****, and removed it from **** - presumably because they got a better offer and sold it for a higher price to someone else. This was extremely sneaky and dishonest, since the emails clearly show we reached an agreement on price and timeframe for payment. Overall, La Jolla Gems went against the agreement we made,blocked me, and sold it for what Im assuming is a higher price. I have many messages back and forth but have attached the most recent and pertinent message, in which we reach an agreement that he/she violates.
