On 11/15/21 I contacted the company E-Drains doing business as ************************ to have a drain cleared in my home. I thought I was calling a different business called *********************** ************** a company that I had been doing business with for over ***************************** this company E-Drains had filed a fictitious business name statement taking the name ************************. While I understand this is legal (and I spoke to **************************** and she confirmed that they had "taken" the name this last year), I was under the impression that it was the service I had used for years- they never corrected that belief though it should have been clear from the questions I asked. Their service person came, cleared the drain, and left on the 15th. 2 days later the drain clogged again and I called them back. They refused to come back unless paid up front, and when I expressed annoyance they said they would not work for me (because I am an attorney). I posted a review of this business on yelp. Yesterday, I saw that they had posted the following in response to my post: "There is such a thing as a DBA. If you check our license number ********* on the **** you will see that we in fact are a corporation with the name E-Drains doing business as ************************. We bought that phone number and can use it legally. We are very sorry that you had a bad experience but our technician refused to return to your house ********************************* on ********************************** because he claims that you behaved in an inappropriate manner with him. To reduce the risk of any other harassment to take place, we decided to stay away from this home. You also had no warranty so there was no reason to issue you a refund. Thank you."This is slander and harassment and gives out my personal information. I asked them by email to remove this posting and they refused to do so.Business response

We are willing to resolve this ladys complaint but not by using this service or any other online platform. She must call us either today or Monday after 9am and ask to speak to *****. There is a pending sexual harassment allegation against her. Thank you.Customer response

This business continues to post false information about me and has refused to remove the post on yelp which is libelous, constitutes defamation of character and contains my personal contact information, which is an invasion of my privacy.Business response

I have nothing to say to this company and simply am asking that they remove my personal, private information from the post they put on Yelp, and that they cease their false accusations against me.
