We signed a contract with **** Youngblood from My Builders on 12/29/2021 Everything was going well until April when he started not answering calls and not doing our normal walk thru on Thursdays afternoons. Workers kept showing to work but they were confused and not sure what to work on. They focused on installing the floors which were done not the way we wanted. Since April **** provided very little guidance to workers and started having communications issues. We kept payments on time. **** keep making promises on move in date that would come and go. We started giving deadline since we need to move in which he couldn't meet. We finally just moved in and we have no hot water, no gas, no insulation in attic/walls and no AC/Heating. There is many items that where started and never completed. Our refrigerator will not fit in the cabinet because it is not straight. They have redone it three times already that we have paid and now it will be a fourth time. Tile work not completed. So many things and to much to list.Friday June 24 2022 Last time workers come to work Last invoice payment Sat June 25 - **** medical issue started hemorrhoids inflammation June 28 promised to meet to go over the next steps / never showed up said he was having medical issues He said that *********************** would work on Plumbing 6/29 but no show (we offered a ride to **** and no reply) Ask **** to be truthful no reply Continue to call and text 6/30, 07/01 no response July 4 sent email with list of itens that need to be completely and requested new invoices to be taken from $16k deposit / no response Call through week no response July 11 sewer is back up / call **** no response Sent text to ****, ****** and **** asking about **** Sent official complaint email 7/11 Continue to call and text daily no reply. We feel like he abandoned the project and kept our deposit. Cant confirm since he is not communicating since 6/28
