On 8Jul2023 at San Diego RV Resort, in **********, my spouse experienced an electric shock from our camper. This was due to the pedestal in which we plug our camper into for power, failed to have the proper wiring and no neutral ground installed. This very serious and dangerous safety hazard was reported to the front office on 8Jul2023. On 9Jul2023 San Diego RV resort sent out an electrician that confirmed, there was no Neutral Ground in place, and that in fact was the reason why our camper experienced the continuous circuit of raw power, that can be felt if anyone touched a metal surface. Due to San Diego RV Resort's Maintenance Negligence, we had to purchase new 50amp electrical cables and surge protector due to the faulty pedestal. When we asked the front desk for reimbursement of the amount paid $788, they simply told us that due to us signing the waiver in the lease, SUN LAND RV Resorts is not held liable for any damages/ injuries. Now the issue lies with overall safety of the campgrounds and other campers, and we question their maintenance practices to prevent serious causalities. Or because of the signed liability waiver they simply don't care. When asked; "what happens if this happened to a child?" We were met with a shoulder shrug, and "unfortunately this waives us from any liability".
