I went to **************** for a tummy tuck and breast implant exchange with a lift in 2010, my implants sagged quite a bit and 1 came out of the pocket. I did go back to **************** and he stated the previous larger implants had made a large pocket and the smaller implant had come out, he could go in surgically sew up the pocket to make the implants pop back ** in place. ** 2012 I went in for breast revision surgery to fix the previous breast augmentation he performed, the consent I signed was for the implant pocket to be sewn up. While I was under anesthesia **************** decided to take out the smaller implants he previously put in, making a decision for me to add in 600cc implants. I woke up to extremely large4 b****** again that I never asked for or consented to. The implants were so large and uncomfortable and I was in complete shock he made this decision for me while I was under anesthesia, knowing I had come to him for a reduction. After a year or so my body started to retain a lot of fluid (edema) after several doctor's ************ I was told there was nothing they could do and my medical coverage refused to remove the implants, I would have to pay out of pocket. After several years of debating on having another surgery and going under anesthesia, I decided to have the implants removed due to so many complications they were causing. The surgeon that removed the implants stated the implants were in good condition however there were so many sutures in there, different sutures too many to count and he could not get them all out. He also stated he was not sure what had been done previously to me. I had to spend another $8600 to fix a disaster. Since the implants have been removed my edema has also subsided. Also, I called the office to obtain my OP repost and was told it had been destroyed. This is unethical behavior for a surgeon to make a decision for a patient under anesthesia.Business response

The patient's initial surgery was 10 years ago, which was a breast lift procedure and implant exchange, She return 4 years later because she felt her implants were too small. In fact, she requested to have larger implants placed, which you can see in her email sent to my office manager as exhibit A. Here we are almost 8 years later and now receiving this complaint. The patient underwent revisional surgery. I tightened up the pocket, which routinely does when somebody feels like the implants are saggy more than they want, and put a larger implant in, which she did request. I never put implants larger than what a patient requested, in fact, they have to sign for the implants and the size. Unfortunately, this has been over 7 years ago and we destroy charts that are 7 years and over, which is in legal statute for retaining medical records. She never complained to us immediately after surgery and in fact, this is the first complaint we are hearing from her since she had a second surgery. As far as any findings that another surgeon found are all without any documentation from the other physician's office. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help to discuss them further with you. (****************).Initial Complaint

On 6-22-2021 I went to SD Body Countouring for fillers. I paid $1849 cash. Two weeks later I contacted them to let them know that whatever I received did not work. I was supposed to go back to see the doctor(I guess in charge of that facility). My fillers were applied by a nurse. I didnt follow thru with the doctors appointment, because I wasnt comfortable going there any longer. It took me quite some time to save money for that procedure and I didnt have any more for more fillers.I definitely dont want to go back to that place.I am looking to go to a different place and have my work done by a specialist.Business response

This patient has her initial treatment on 06/22/21 and came back on 07/13/21 because she was unhappy with how her botox and filler turnout. My nurse spoke with her great length and was examined. The nurse did not find any palpable lumps and the patient has a strong glabella and most like need more units to be able to achieve the look she was looking for. Per protocol, the patient was instructed to see the physician to determine the next step as far as if the patient need more products or products that did not work and determine if he would treat at no cost or refund her, unfortunately, the patient never came back to be seen by the physician. Here we are almost 7 months later and we are now receiving this complaint.Customer response

I didnt file this complaint 7 months after my treatment. I filed it way before that. The receptionist as well as the nurse not only are the rudest staff Ive ever met whenever I get my treatments. They never mentioned that I was going to get a refund if I only went to see the doctor in charge. I decided that I was not going to spend another ***** with this business, not only because of the way I was treated but also because of the way my treatment ended up!
