Unfortunately I have to get my water from the Helix water district in ****************** their billing system is set up for them to be able to charge you late fees so they can make extra profits off their consumers. It's very deceptive and confusing and when you call them they are rude and they try to make it seem like you're don't understand what's going on. I keep occurring a late fee for the past year or more. I don't wait to pay my bill I pay it as soon as I get it because as I stated before it's extremely confusing their billing process. There is nothing in their billing information to say who regulates them or you or you can file a complaint. I tried contacting the Helix water district several times to no avail. I am extremely frustrated because they are taking advantage of me and if they're doing it to me they're doing it to other consumers to make a profit. They are not regulated by the public utilities department and I can't find out who does regulate them so it seems like they regulate themselves so they're free to take advantage of us. I want to speak to a manager from Helix water district with authority not a representative calling and talking to me like I'm a three-year-old child. I want my bill adjusted and I want to be able to read and understand exactly what's going on because as I said before it's confusing and it's set up for them to accrued late fees on unsuspecting consumers. This matter really needs to be looked into by whatever governing authority regulates them if there is one. I just spoke to them a couple of days ago explaining it to them I have a new late fee on there again and they said that there wasn't one there you can see it clearly plain as day that they are charging me an additional late fee why I don't know. Their bill needs to be adjusted and made more user friendly because we don't work for Helix water district they understand what they're doing but we as consumers are extremely confused and I truly believe in my heart that they know that their billing system confuses us.
