Improper sales of a vehicle without legal transfer from one owner to the next no 162's filed, the last dated valid title was 4/28/2012 under **************** Sowell who then transferred to his dealership (w/o a date) that is listed in this complaint signed by **************- General manager that transfer was not dated and there was no odometer disclosure entered on documents. I am holding this ** responsible for for the start of the issues pertaining to this car not being registered or smogged for over 10 yearsBusiness response

Attached you will find a "Sold As Is" Invoice from Eblock Auction. Sowell Automotive *** DBA Hyundai of La Quinta Dealer# ***** wholesaled this vehicle with prior registered owner listed as **************** Sowell which had a prior NON-OP for the ********** registration to another Wholesaler which is ************* Sales Dealer# I10000718 with an address of ***************************************************************************** on 04/06/2023. Like stated on the Eblock Auction invoice the vehicle was sold as is with nothing else promised and it did not go thru Arbitration for any other fees. The paperwork that was attached by ************************* with her complaint does not list her as a buyer anywhere. There is no paper trail from anyone that shows ************************* as the buyer. When a vehicle is wholesaled thru an auction, we the selling dealer are required to send the title and Reg 262 to the auction and they relinquish the title and Reg 262 to the Wholesale buyer who in turn will sell the vehicle to a private buyer and that Dealer will complete the transfer with ********** of ***** Vehicles into the new buyers name or wholesale it to another dealership. Please see attached documents for our paper trail. ************************* needs to reach out to who she purchased the vehicle from for any and all questions and concerns since she did not purchase the vehicle from us, we wholesaled the vehicle to ************* Sale back in 2023 and listed the vehicle as "Sold As Is" and gave the appropriate paperwork at that time.
