    I am writing because of my concerns and disappointment with the management and overall sanitation conditions at a recent hotel stay at Surf and Sand. I recently stayed at Surf and Sand Resort on 7/29/23 to 7/31/23. Our stay left me greatly dissatisfied and concerned about the standards upheld by the hotel management Norm and ******************Firstly, the management of the hotel was appalling; Norm, the front ************* was extremely rude, mean and condescending when I approached him as to why we were promised and confirmed a room at 10am but we had to wait until 3pm to get inside our room? He was very hostile and I felt disrespected and afraid of his attitude. I encountered numerous issues, ranging from unresponsive management to a lack of professionalism and kindness. The management were dismissive and unhelpful throughout our stay, displaying a clear lack of interest in addressing any issues or concerns raised by us. This lack of attentiveness greatly affected the overall experience and left us feeling neglected, horrified and emotionally distressed as a paying customer.Secondly, and more alarmingly, the hotel's cleanliness and sanitation practices were severely lacking. The condition of my room was far from satisfactory. The linens appeared worn and stained, suggesting limited attention to cleanliness and hygiene. The pool and jacuzzi looked and felt unclean and over chlorinated. Furthermore, the room itself had an unpleasant odor, suggestive of inadequate proper upkeep and a lack of regular deep cleaning. I have serious concerns about the overall health and safety standards adhered to by the hotel, including mold, unsafe rust, and unhealthy orders. Also the room was not equipped with an A/C so the room fan kept circulating the bad smell and mold particles throughout the hot room constantly. Ridiculous unsafe and unclean!Additionally, I observed several areas of the hotel that were visibly unsanitary. The common areas, such as hallways, elevators, and the lobby, were neglected, displaying a lack of regular cleaning. Numerous trash bins were overflowing, attracting pests and compromising the overall comfort and cleanliness of the establishment. Such conditions are not only unsightly but also hazardous to the health and well-being of guests. strongly urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate the management And cleanliness. Lastly and most importantly, our check in time was delayed by 5 hours and but horrifically 1 hour was stolen from our check out time in a malice and unethical way. As my husband and I were showering to leave the hotel a staff member rudely banged on our door without any calls or warnings made. My husband answered the door and the rude staff member declared as he stood behind the door toweled up, You have ten minutes to leave. He said to him our check out is 4pm which my husband and I confirmed multiple times and during check in. We told him that what they are doing isnt fair and possibly illegal. And told them we need reasonable time to change and pack and leave. But they didnt allow us a reasonable time. They contacted security right away and security wouldnt stop banging on our door. We told them we are getting changed and packing. But they kept knocking and being menacing. They rushed us to such degree that I left my very expensive Porsche sunglasses in the room. As we packed and headed out of the hotel we were approached by police officers that the hotel called on us. The police were pleasant, kind and understanding of our situation, (and suggested that we write a yelp review on them) but it was clear that the hotel management, out of spite and malice, wanted to humiliate and horrify us and our stay at the hotel. I look forward to a favorable resolution to ensure that future guests are spared from similar negative experiences and that a full refund is given to us for our suffering.

    This hotel is unlike any hotel Ive ever stayed at. They dont care about their customers at all. They will lie to your face with joy. We were set for a late check out, 4pm, on a Monday, which we confirmed with them verbally multiple times. We got to the hotel to which we were set to check in at 10am because we request early check in. We got there and had to wait til 3pm to get into the nasty, filthy, *****, smelly room. We called the ********************* to ask why we were told 10am was check in but we had to wait until 3pm and he was extremely rude and unhelpful, condescending and sexists. Later he tried to bribe us with free a drink because of his rude behavior, which we didnt accept. Then we contacted his manager ***************** and left her multiple messages to call us back on the rude behavior of ******. She never called us back but hour or so after we left her another message security came knocking on our door to kick us out of our room. They were rude and threatening and harassed us. We told them were showering and will leave as soon as we could. Then they called the police on us, the police were amazing to us and told us to leave them a Yelp review about their fraudulent, evil and rude behavior . I hope ****** and **** are fired for their behavior, fraud, and harassment.
