    On January 20, 2022, BBB requested Pawsionate to substantiate, modify or discontinue claims on their website (https://pawsionate.com) that display discounted prices.  Advertisers must be prepared to substantiate such claims per BBB's Code of Advertising. 

    BBB's Code of Advertising Section 9 Sales Claims states retailers can advertise “sales” where they are offering a significant reduction in price for a limited period of time. At the end of the sale period, retailers can, in good faith, convert the sale price to a new regular price if they no longer claim a savings.

    Order # PAW13681081580. I placed an order on their website on Friday, May 24, 2024. Within an hour or so, I decided to cancel it and sent an email. Their website states you can cancel an order if your order was placed within ***** hours, so I was well within the time frame. They take ***** hours to respond to an email, but on the same day - just later that night they responded and acknowledged and tried to get me to continue with me order. Early the next morning, 5/25/2024, I responded and said I want to cancel the order. That same day they responded back and advised they processed a cancellation and I would receive a refund in 7-10 business days. At that time the charge was just pending on my account, but the $35.98 cleared my account on 5/28/2024. I did NOT ever get a refund, so on Wednesday, June 6, 2024 I emailed AGAIN and that person responded on 6/7/2024 apologizes for the incovenience and saying my order was cancelled and I would get confirmation shortly. No explaination, nothing. It has been two weeks - was my original order not cancelled? It is 6/8/2024 and I STILL have not received a cancellation confirmation and I STILL have no refund of my $35.98.

    Their policy states "if you are unhappy with your order due to a defect, damage, wrong item, or printing quality issue, please contact our customer service. Our policy lasts 20 days since your delivery date. I'm 14 days away from their policy since the item was delivered on July 10, the policy states if the 20-day period has gone, we can't offer you a replacement" and "if the problem is significant, we will send you a replacement within a reasonable time. In this event, the original product can be kept at the customer's disposal".. They are instead sending e-mail after e-mail after e-mail wanting me to send a photo or video proving the lights inside the item do not work. ??? How??? I'd have to return it for them to test the switch themselves. The switch inside does nothing, there is no way to prove they do not work, and if I return it they will not only have the item but obviously they won't replace it, either, their customer service is giving me the runaround. I see there were 67 complaints filed and that you show an "F" rating with you??? I'm not surprised. I'm guessing I am just out my $36.98 since they do not list a phone number and you have no way to contact them other than e-mails that never help.
