Ordered a "new in box" **** PL82-3 for $787. I received a heavily used item and when I informed them of their wrongdoing, the response was to offer me $150 "discount".Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that I will accept this resolution. I have received a return shipment label and will wait for the business to submit a refund to my credit card and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

On July 11, 2022 I placed an order (SPW Order #******) for an item that was listed on their website. Their website indicated they have a Qty 4 currently in stock with a price of $783/each. I ordered qty two of these items, checked out and paid. I received an order confirmation confirming the qty and price for each item; I also received a receipt for payment from my credit card. Two days later I receive an email notice from the company stating my order status has changed and they have refunded my card stating the item is no longer in stock. See email excerpt --"Thank you so much for your recent order. We're writing to inform you that your order has been canceled because the item you've purchased was out of stock. We're sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused." So of course, I go back to their website and see the item is still posted for sale and in stock but at new price of $1950/each. Which means someone in the company updated inventory of the product with a new higher price the same day they cancelled my order and said they didn't have the items.See website of first item listed:https://spwindustrial.com/about/#/dfclassic/query=kl2101x1&session_id=********************************&query_name=match_and New price listed with qty 4 in stock https://spwindustrial.com/******-rosemount-kl2101x1-ba1/I tried to contact the company but no one is answering the phone number listed. This is false advertisement and seems to be price gouging. What a scam! How can a company get by with the bait and switch technique in the year 2022? What a scam!I would like this resolved by shipping me the items they have in stock at the original price I ordered.Business response

We reserve the right to cancel any order and update new pricing according to new
cost from our suppliers , prices on ************************* are constantly changing and we are some times
unable to update pricing fast enough

Transaction date is 6/12/2022, I realize the company is closed on Sunday. But the part is a main breaker.I checked on the website and see the part in stock, usually ships in ***** hours, Thats ok also, I expect it should ship eod Tuesday. I called as the site says still awaiting shipment. it has been on this status since Monday morning,. The receptionist said the part won't ship until Friday. as it is not in stock. Again the website and my screen shots show clearly in stock and usually ships in ***** hours. so Ship on Friday is 120 hours, who only goes by business hours when listing ***** hours, This is the main breaker for my home and we are in 95+ temperatures. I said I can't wait for Friday ship date when your site clearly states other wise. I Wouldn't recommend this website to anyone, as i don't know you will ever get the product you are look for. I have all the screen shots to prove what I am saying, I even paid additional monies for rush shipping. $318.**.Business response

You placed the order on Sunday and paid for Ground shipping which takes 5 to 7 days to arrive to you. If you needed this sooner you could have chosen FedEx 2 day . We have refunded and canceled your order.Initial Complaint

Fraud website. Takes money and does not allow you to contact them about an order. Tried calling, chatting through the web page, and emailing. Bank confirmed it was fraudulent.Business response

Not sure what you are complaining about, but we received your refund request on on Tuesday Nov 23 at 10 am, we issued a refund on the same day at 12pm . You will be blocked from further purchases from our website.Customer response
