I have done 7 prior remodels. I had more problems with Elite than all the other projects combined and then some.A complete single story home remodel down to the studs, nothing unusually complex but obviously I wanted it done in accordance with the contract that incorporated my custom elements. Started well. Avi had all the right answers to my questions, assured me he had the people and expertise to do everything on my list, no delays because he didnt use subs so had complete control over timing and he had a good relationship with the inspectors. Turned out that was a huge lie. So a 6 month project was still unfinished after 18 months and has been a nightmare. Avi blames whats happened in the industry since Covid for delays. But I hear hes still bidding for other projects even though supposedly he cant find people to finish my work. He lied to get my work even knowing timing was critical because my disabled partners life expectancy is relatively short. I believe he would lie to anyone.In truth, Elites work is done by its minority investor *************************, who treats it as a side hobby as he has other projects of his own. But Yaron has his own license (My New Home Project *********************** so theres no reason to use Avi and pay Elite, just go straight to the main ***************** and hire him direct (though not recommended either). Avi does not understand or do construction himself and apparently no other Elite employees do either. His advertising is false. Hes not a capable contractor, delusional about the facts on the ground and habitually lies about work being done in order to trigger milestone payments that are not actually due.Yaron and his small crew (typically 2 or at most 3 low paid handymen) have limited skills, a make do, compromise attitude to most tasks, try to conceal work that is not done to code, and no experience of how to do many of the custom items on my list. No proper project management. Don't go through what I did.
