12/1/23 ********* I have Life Time Fitness membership (from ********* in *********. Since I will be in ********** for 4 month, I asked Life Time in ********* if I could use this membership in **********. I got 3 different answers from 3 different person, Yes, No, Maybe. California 1/10/24 late morning in **********, I drove to Life Time Fitness Laguna Niguel, ** to check my membership status. The front lady checked my card and said Absolutely, you can use this club just like in *********. Next day 1/11/24, I went to Laguna Niguel club for a yoga class. The lady in the front, not the same one I talked to the day before, would not accept my membership. I was upset about the contradicting response from 2 employees. I stopped at the membership counter hoping to get a clear answer. He said NO , your membership does not apply here . So I asked about regular membership and the cost. I also asked is there senior membership. He said No, there is only ONE type of membership that cost $295. I went home and checked Life Time web site. I found out there is a 65+ membership for $265. As you can see none of the Life Time employees I dealt with, both in ********* and ********** know what they are doing. This is the most ridiculous, poor run organization I have ever dealt with! I need an official answer and explanation on 2 questions:1. Can I use my current card in ********** 2. What type of membership are there ? Note, I have Silver Sneakers.Business response

Hello,
On January 1st of this year, Life Time made the move to offer SilverSneakers access across all of our locations. However, not all insurance plans are providing access to Life Time as part of their coverage. The choice to offer Life Time access as part of SilverSneakers is entirely at the discretion of each insurance company. While many insurance providers have opted to include access to Life Time for years, some have chosen not to. The decision to provide access rests entirely with the insurance provider. As it stands, we have no **********, Washington, ****** or ****** based Health Plans using SilverSneakers that have in fact elected to offer the Life Time benefit. This information was communicated to us on January 10th, **** by these insurance providers. This is not ********** fault or issue, it is a decision by each insurer that was made without our knowledge. We will still offer the program in the clubs we did offer, as well as a few new states. But it will, in fact not be a national product.
In regard to the 65+ membership, this is offered at some of our clubs nationally, however not at our club which is a Signature membership only ($297)

I am a paying member of the gym and found out via the app that I was not a member of the facility forcing me to upgrade for a higher dollar amount. There was no email, no communication, and no letter sent explaining this. I was confused and thought the app was broken. The raise did not allow me to use the facility because I could not afford it. I still was charged even though they did not communicate this.
