Laguna asset management. They gave us a 90 day heads up that their gonna raise my rent 24%. By law they can only raise it 5% to 10% percent. Their breaking the law.Initial Complaint

Me and my girlfriend broke up and I moved into ************************ with the help of her best friend *************************** who is the on site manager. I was told to go pick up my things out of my exs yard where they were left at overnight, as I was loading my things ***** the manager called me to tell me I was getting a 72 hour notice and she was calling the cops. At this point I had only been in the park for 2 days, she had no reason to evict me and my 9 year old child who lives with me full time. I ignored the notice seeing as there was no reason for it and contacted her supervisor **** she was no help at all and with no investigation agreed right away with her on site managers decision to evict me and my son. I have called and left multiple voicemails at their corporate office I have emailed multiple times with no response. On the day the 72 hour notice was up I was working out of town and got a call at 9 in the morning saying the manager is at my trailer with a tow truck completely disregard my personal belongings or my 2 cats in the trailer the manager proceeded with the eviction I had to leave work and come home at this point.My and my 9 year old were technically homeless for the week after staying at families, while I tried to find a new spot to park the trailer. It was a complete abuse of power and she evicted me and my son due to a personal vendetta because she is my exs friend.Initial Complaint

I surrendered my mobile home at ******************************************************************** on March 30, 2021. The surrender was signed by Park Manager ******************************* at her place of residence around 7-8pm before we left for ********* October 21, 2022, I receved a bill in the mail from the county tax collectors office in **** county for property taxes. This house has been removed from the space and was torn down. I have photographic proof of that and I have filed a complaint with the state in which they are in the process of doing an investigation on the property. The state provided me with the decal number. This business is in deep trouble because of their refusal to comply with state regualations by not submitting the transfer of title or salvage records that the house has been destroyed and removed. I suggest that **************** Mobile Home partk at ***** ************, and Laguna Assets Management ********************* rectify this issue immediately. There is no reason, after almost 1 year and a half why they didnt transfer the title and the salvage documents. I have email proof from *************************** from the whole surrender process, along with her clairfying with me that once the house was surrendered we woul dnot be liable for anything. She was asked to email me the paperwork of the surrender, which she did not do which demonstrates to me shady and unlawful practices on this companys behalf. They will be sent the property taxes each time I receive them until they transfer the title and the salvage paperwork. They are in SERIOUS trouble with the state. It is best they rectify this issue immediately. All photos and email contact in regards to this surrender are being forwarded to the state for their investigation to prove that this business along with the management of ********************************* have been scrupulous with their dealings with handling this situation. If they refuse to comply with this request then civil legal action will be taken if necessary.Initial Complaint

Constant Harassment by management, targeting certain people, illegal towing of vehicles. Changed locks on my mailbox so I cannot get mail, illegally had locks changed on my house 3 times, refused to give me a application for lease agreement, had my car illegally towed 7 times while other tenants are parked in the street as well and they didn't tow their cars. They never take care of the pool. Its closed almost every few days because its green and water is dirty. Instead of taking care of it properly they just padlock the pool so no one can use it. I'm paying rent every month and I can't use it when I want to. The county shut it down because of how nasty it was. They reopened it and then a week later it was locked again. They had it locked up on 4th of July when I had family come to hang out and we couldn't use it. They will only accept check, money order or cashiers check to pay rent. You cannot pay online. It's a huge hassle every month having to pull mo ey out from 2 different banks and get charged for pulling money out each time because you can only pull out $500 from one bank. Then have to go to another bank to pull out the remainder and be charged a fee to pull that money out too. Then have to get money order and get charged for that as well. Fill it out then have to go drop it in the office drop bax. It's a huge inconvenience. I have 3 kids I have to drag along with me. I usually put it off because I have other things I have to do and then I ends up being late and I get a late charge for it. This company is large enough to be able to pay rent online. Also the kids park is outdated and unsafe. The water sometimes smells like sewer and they shut off the water several times a month. They give us less than 24 hour notice before shutting water off all day.
