    On October 17, 2023 I stayed at the Lake Arrowhead resort. There was odd behavior by a man that claimed to be hotel security however he did not have a badge or any identification of a security guard. I saw him outside my hotel room door at least 3 times and he even followed me to the lobby. I recorded him outside my room and in the lobby around 3AM. The reason I went to the lobby at 3AM was because I got scared that he was trying to harm me. In one of the videos I recorded him entering the hotel room next to mine, which was odd. I reported the incident using the link provided by the hotel and I did receive a follow-up e-mail and phone call from ***************************** one of the managers of the hotel. During our phone conversation on 10/31/2023 ********************** mentioned that the man was his security guard and he and his guard were staying in the room next to mine. At the time I thought the entire incident and hotel response was weird. The reason I am reporting this now is because the stalker behavior exhibited by the security guard continues to bring me discomfort when I think about it and there is no reason as to why I shouldnt let somebody know about it to prevent future guests from experiencing the fear I felt during that stay. Further the hotel never disclosed the mans name that was stalking me.

    My stay was in August. The scenic room I reserved turned out to have a a giant tree obscuring the lakeview, and when we arrived the computers where down and we had to wait 3 hours to check in, but all that I could get over. It was fine. My issue came just yesterday, 2 months after my stay- when out of the blue $769 was taken from me, without authorization or notice. Apparently I was charged a NO SHOW fee. I called immediately to see what was happening because of course I was NOT a No Show, if I was there and had been charged already. It of course was an error and they said they would refund me. I asked how this could have happened and Frank (manager) said well what do you want, you are getting your money back. What I would like Frank, is to understand how this happened because ultimately I was the one whose money was stolen. Frank did not care that I am a single mother and this withdrawal affected me, he showed no compassion- his point was that in 10 business days I would have my money. His cavalier attitude was disappointing. When I asked how this could have possibly happened he had no answers for me and it seemed like he just wanted to get off the phone. I have many friends in the Arrowhead area, that is the reason we stayed there. After this, I will never again patronize this establishment that stole money and showed no compassion to the inconvenience they caused me. I don't know if this a regular business practice of theirs to erroneously charge folks months later and without notification. Had they reached out and let me know that they believed I owed, I could have then resolved the issue before it got to this point. Instead they stole my money and for them it doesn't matter. Truly horrible customer service and experience. Check you receipts and make sure they aren't making false charges- because according to Frank this has happened before- but don't worry you will get your money... eventually.
