The Inmode *** messaged me late, informing me of a rare deal; A large comp. bought 10 devices, & only wanted 8. Inmode had 2 new devices that appeared sold & avail at discounted price. Little time to purchase, one was already sold. Inmode would take care of all updates and ***airs, provide marketing to build clients & after 6 mths, if I wasnt able to build clients, he would help sell the device. The next 2-3 days, the *** pressured me on this opportunity" & connected me with a ** for a peer opinion about pt ****************** satisfaction. After, I learned these **s get paid a substantial *** when the device is ********* was withheld from me. The *** *** told me this would NOT go against my personal credit. I was told there were no lawsuits against Inmode. During this, I was dealing with a medical urgency with my daughter, & the *** was aware. I signed papers in June, & asked for copies. I was not given copies until 2 days after he followed tracking, unboxed the device, & plugged it in---despite ***eated requests. I did not have the contract or purchase agreement to further review. I was lied to about many things. The PA states "demo device. They state it is new. Only a 1 yr warranty. The price is not discounted compared to other sales. It DOES affect my credit. There is a lawsuit against Inmode: Shareholders alleges Inmode issued false stmnts/failed to disclose they heavily discount almost every device. I immediately sent emails--Inmode & *** with my complaint, requesting them to pick this unused device up & not complete the contract/PA. I was told by *** the contract did not exist. Both comp. pushed to move forward. Both pursue sales by ********************** which is fraud. Inmode & *** target sm businesses. On 05/06/2024 ********************* showed up at our medspa Body BeneFits in The *********, *****. After MULTIPLE attempts of explaining that we are NOT interested in his services he continues to harass our company with phone calls, emails, and walk ins. He went as far as to find the owners PERSONAL email, which is nowhere on any websites for public information, to try to sell equipment to us. This is completely outrageous. He lied to the owner and said that I told him to come to the office. I never told ***** to come to the office, in fact I told him DO NOT CONTACT US. DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE. DO NOT EMAIL, CALL OR ANYTHING WE ARE NOT INTERESTED. He has continued his harassment of our office. I have reached out to the corporate office with NO responses at all. He has been warned MULTIPLE times that if this company reaches out again, there will be harassment charges filed with Law Enforcement. I am a provider who just started my own practice. The inmode sales rep came to our office multiple times and was very pushy, He had me sign the papers to see if I would qualify for finance, I thought ok it was just to enquire so I signed in between my busy patients. I texted him same evening that I am not going to go ahead with this, the he says he already submitted it, I sent an email to all the biggies in the company, next day they say they shipped the equipment when I already said NO, and I was told by the sales rep that it takes 3 months for the newest version of Morpheus 8 I was getting, now suddently it was shipped the next day. I told him I can not afford it. He comes the next day stating they are ready to give me discount, I told him NO, then he tried to have the marketing person talk to me and I didnt, he kept asking me to send him a check voided and I said NO. Today I am getting a statement from the bank for something I never agreed to buy. This is the most ridiculous company I came across, I wish I had never let him put his foot inside my door. This is a scam whiche evryone needs to be aware of. I am contacting a lawyer but I am sharing this for everyone else who might be their next target. Please be aware. I am hoping for an apology and them taking all their stuff back which is untouched and unpacked. I have no documentation from the bank, no terms, no copy of the agreement. Now see how dirty tactics they play. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU LET THEM IN. THEY have caused me emotional distress as I really cant afford their equipment.Business response

We apologize for your experience, and while we disagree about many of the allegations, we want all of our partners to be excited and motivated to work with us. It was clear that you had decided to change directions and we processed your return quickly. I hope this complaint has been resolved and you can communicate that to the BBB. I am a physician new to aesthetics and was approached by In Mode sales rep who claimed that I will be able to pay off the device within a month, and that the prices in ************* are 3500 dollars for a package of 3. I spent ****** dollars (claimed to have given me a discount of ******) on Optimas platform and she lured me to sign as fast as possible or the deal will go away by the end of the day. She pretended to call her manager and get me a "deal." This same tactics are reported on ************* by previous sales reps for Inmode who spilled the story of how Inmode employs cheap sales tactics to ***** hard working, but naive providers who are non core dermatologists to buy their device. I was cheated, threatened and bullied by their sales reps for speaking my mind and warning other providers of the poor service received from their sales team and they promise marketing but there will be no marketing. I ended up paying and losing so much money it would take me years to recover. BBB or any other entity may not do anything about this but my story has to be told. I was further insulted by their sales reps as being a negative defeatist. They not only hurt me financially, professionally but also emotionally.Business response

We are well aware of ********************************* dissatisfaction. We are an equipment manufacturer, and while we work hard to help all of our partners become successful there is work to be done on the buyer's side in order to do so. To date, ****************** has done nothing to promote or sell her InMode services. Moreover, we have spent many hours consulting with her and attempting to jump-start her business. She was paired with the #1 ******************** Account Manager in our organization who has helped countless practices find success.
Rather than following our recommendations, ****************** continuously chose to reject our proven process and instead disrespectfully lashed out at those attempting to help her on numerous occasions. She simply does not want to follow the plan, and she is well within her right to take that position. Again, she purchased the device, we have more than held up our end of the agreement. She is not required to take our help, but we will not tolerate the way she has treated our employees.
****************** has been extremely disrespectful and aggressive with our team - even bringing the Account Manager who has over 25 years of industry experience to tears because of the way she was treated.
We will not offer any resolution to this baseless complaint. If her position changes, we would be willing to work with her again after an apology. However, our approach to practice development remains the same and does require work on her part. If she is not aligned with our recommendations/process, we also understand and would encourage her to seek independent business consulting and strategy or find a service to perform the necessary work to be successful with the device.

InMode told me I could return my device (********************* in ******, **). If I was not seeing results with the ********************** device. He lied. Told me I had zero interest on loan. He lied. They use FPG to do lending. I suspect *************************** gives them commission, otherwise why use these loan sharks. Loan hid interest rate. Device doesnt work. Doesnt have *** approval! Refuse to send clinical studies. They ignore me. Device flat out doesnt work. I believe they know that. Its basically a giant TENS device and they piggybacked *** approval here. They lie, they cheat, they steal. Lied about device, clinical studies, loan and return Policy. They refuse to help me and threaten me with lawsuits. They told me to Shut up or they cant help me- tried to scare me into being quiet about I feel about the device and my clinical findings. They are a Giant Scam. Scam!
