      I took my lab puppy to this facility for basic training. Upon checking in your dog; they do a health inspection. i was told that my dog had bloat and would die if I didn't take her to the vet right away. I left in tears took her to the vet to find there was nothing wrong with my dog. I called this training facility and told them that my dog was completely healthy and their vet had misdiagnosed my dog. Not to my surprise their health inspected is not even a certified veterinarian. I made the decision to put my dog through the training program that they offered. I was happy with the results of the training and liked the trainer they worked with her. Recently I took my dog back because we were going on vacation and they offer a boarding and brush up training for their stay. When I called to book the reservation I was told the price per day that there was a seven day minimum stay and that I needed to give a 50$ deposit to hold her spot. I told the staff that I would be gone 9-13 days and asked if there would be any issues if I had to pick her up a little earlier than 13 days. I was told there would be no problem with that. I dropped my dog off on the first paid in full for 13 days and called on the 3rd to let them know I would be picking her up on the 10th. Upon my return I was told that they would not refund my money for the 3 days she was not staying but I would get a credit for the money I had paid up front. I asked the staff for a copy of the agreement I had signed that stated that was the terms of our agreement. They could not provide me with one. I was then notified by management that if I wanted a partial refund of the 3 day boarding fee the contract would be voided and my dog would not be welcome to complete her training program. The amount in dispute is 134$ after I had paid them over 2000K. K-9 Companions staff have such poor business practice that they will upset a client over such a minimum amount and can not even provide Prof of this so called no refund policy.

      This client is referring to an experience she had in 2013! On 7/16/21, 8 years later, she started spamming all of our social media with complaints, I have responded to her on 7/16/21 telling her that I was sorry about her experience but I did not own the business 8 years ago, I bought it in January 2016. I also told her we would still honor her board and train privileges for her dog, which I am not obligated to do but she is refusing to believe me. It is easy to look up and confirm who the owner is, but she is now posting personal pictures from my social media profiles and just causing such distress to our business. I have reported her to Yelp, Google and Facebook and they have removed her reviews. I will be contacting my attorney next to deal with her.

      I had an extremely bad experience with this company in 2013. I had posted what my bad experiences were at that time. I noticed that my reviews of this company had been deleted so I reposted them. I do think it is important that other consumers know my experience with K9 Companions. The owner had all my personal information and what had happened to me there. She contacted me through her personal social media account on Facebook threatening me and a picture with her middle finger up. I have done nothing wrong.
