      This complaint is against Nelson drywall Patch-N-Match in ******************** for poor quality work and unlawful business practices. Despite receiving full payment for service provided, **********, the business owner, refused to provide a sales receipt that is required by law. I informed ********** of the poor quality work and grand theft that transpired by his employees at my home between Sep 29, 2021 thru Oct 01, 2021. I also informed ********** that I had filed a grand theft police report at the ****** ******* Department. I discovered that many of my personal valuables that I had staged away during my home remodeling were stolen by his employees. They re-arranged furniture and re- staged my valuables to cover them with protection sheet covers to prevent drywall dusk and paint particles from getting on them. They turned my home into a crime scene by stealing what they wanted during the process. The ceilings and walls in my home show where paint spots were missed showing poor quality work. The employees from Nelson drywall Patch-N-Match in *************** are untrustworthy, unreliable and unethical. Mr. ********** is held liable for his employee's bad business practices. I am requesting a full refund for $********.

      Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/12/02) */ In regards to not receiving an invoice and poor work. As per all finished projects a receipt was emailed to the customer for completion of the drywall repair work (attached pictures are of pre-drywall repair post drywall repair pre-paint), Time stamped September 29, 2021, with a separate receipt about to be sent for the painting portion of the work before this dispute began, and will be sent as is with our customers. All finished jobs have pictures taken by the on-site foreman/employee to verify the quality of work, and a walk-through is also done with the customer to verify a satisfactory job and/or address any concerns. A request for a second receipt was emailed by the customer with a timestamp of October 16, 2021, with no mention of any complaints on work quality or of a theft accusation/police report. In regards to the accusations of theft on site during the completion of work on the dates of September 29, 2021 and October 1, 2021. The work on site was done on the first floor in one restroom, living room and on a downstairs laundry room. As per every job plastic was put up to protect valuables and any areas work was not being completed, furniture was moved only with verbal consent by the customer. From gathered descriptions this included a television on an entertainment center, some rugs/floor mats and a shoe rack were all the items moved from the mentioned work areas, all items were placed back into the areas they were in prior to work beginning. The customer in question was on site during all repair work, and no mention was given to the owner of any accusations or complaints until October 18, 2021. Since then the company owner has also been in contact with the sheriff regarding the issue All employees present on the job site were questioned separately on the matter. All three employees that were on site have a long-standing history with the company and have never received any complaints or demerits from customers or the owner during their time with the company. If the customer in question can provide evidence of this claim (video as claimed) and more detailed information on the items missing and given the proper channels to do so the company is willing to attempt to resolve the matter. I do not accept the owner of Nelson Drywall Patch-N-Match response due to I haven't receive a refund, it's deceptive and untrustworthy. Obviously, Mr. ****** doesn't respect my overall dissatisfaction with his company's service provided to me. His company practice is predatory and only paint a deceptive picture that only benefit his company. The theft of my valuables by his employees far exceed the refund amount that I am requesting. Ironically, Mr. ****** is searching for any technicalities to excuse his employees for stealing my valuables. He isn't aware that there is no statue of limitation (time frame) for reporting theft. Mr. ******, also don't have any respect for the law and law enforcement. He elect to be his own detective and override the ******** ******* Department's investigation. He has all the evidence that he need at his disposal that legitimize the refund of my money. Moreover, he continue to be unlawful by not providing me a receipt for the unacceptable paint job performed on October 01, 2021 by his employee. There was no final walk through due to the paint was still wet and needed to cure. It's the owner's responsibility to refund unsatisfactory service provided by his company. It is my responsibility and duty to report theft in the workplace and warn the general public.
