In March of 2023 i was researching business for raingutters and metal edging, I was contacted by ******* , which indiciated he was a general contractor, he installs raingutters. I advised him of what I was looking for and if I could get an estimaite. I also advised him that I had leaks at the front and back doors and he assured me that wouldn't be a problem, and a latch to be replaced at the front gate April 6, 2023, I met with ******* ,owner of business, his father and another worker were present, the father is the one that walked around my property to assess it. He requested a piece of paper and wrote out a bunch of numbers and said that was what they would charge to install raingutters, but recommended that I have my roof coated and that would be cooler in summer, warmer in winter and protect the shingles, and the leaks at the doors, no mentioned about the metal edging and cash only, Half at start of job, the balance in cash when done. April 11, 2023 I sent ******* a text requesting an itemized estimate .April 12, 2023 ******* sent a text, stating they were on their way to start the job. (Never got a proposal)August 20, 2023 with the storm, I had a observed a leak spot in the ceiling in the kitchen area, leaks at the front and back doors, ******* was immediatly notified, he stated he would return the folowing Monday or Tues to check and no show. August 24, 2023, received text from ******* stating there was no guarantee on coating, but they can check where the leak came from and see what my options were, I immediately called him, (I was very angry ) I told him that he needed to return to fix this and make it right. He said he didn't know when he'd be back in the area, he'll text me to let me know, if needed I can get up on the roof and lay down a tarpe, and there may be additional charges, I advised him I wasn't paying them any more monies. As of this date Sept 7th, I've sent (6) text messages asking for another recepit on another matter and when I can expect him to return to fix the roof and no responce by text or phone.
