On 8/5/22, I received a quote from this business for a glass table top. The quote was $480 and I was required to put down 50% deposit. The contractor came to my home to measure for the table top.On 8/24/22, I was contacted by contractor and told that my new price was $675. I refused the bait and switch. I requested a refund. The contractor refused. I asked for a supervisor. I was told that no one was available to talk to me. I asked for the owner; I was told that the owner was out of state. I was told that the manager, *************************, would call me back.On 9/1/22, I called and asked for *************************. I was told that this person was unavailable, but he would call me back.On 9/9/22, I called and left a message during business hours for ************************* to call me back.Initial Complaint

We first had J&J Screen and Glass come out to our home on December 21, 2021 to clean and reinstall one large family room window and then again on January 3, 2022 to replace 2 windows. We also ordered 2 screens for them to install. When the screens were available they came and installed them and we left the gate open in the event we were not home. Both jobs cost us $628.00 plus another $628.00 for a total of $1256.00. Within a week after they finished the work we went out to inspect the work that was done and we noticed that the frame over the guest room window was bent inwards. We also noticed a 4 inch scratch on the lower right end of the window frame over the master bedroom window. We tried calling them several times on and off since mid-January and nobody had returned our calls. We called them again on June 7 and on June 8 and a receptionist finally contacted us. We were told that before they could do anything for us we needed to provide a receipt of services rendered because they do not keep customer receipts on file after one month. I didn't remember getting a receipt from them at the time. I went through all my files and could not find it. Since we could not find the receipt they told us there is nothing they can do. The receptionist told us that the owner ***** is not willing to help assist us. She did say that possibly one of the other workers would be contacting us but never heard back. I get the feeling they are trying to avoid working with us. What we need this business to do for us is to either repair the bend frame or replace it for the guest bedroom We would also like for them to repair the scratch they caused on the window frame from inserting the screen from the master bedroom.We also have photos available on request that we were not able to upload into the file.
