On March 1st, 2023, we took our dog Bella to Adobe Pet Hospital for a double ear infection, she was prescribed medicine, and we were discharged from the room to go out and pay for the services. the Total Bill came to $272.31 to our surprise.Number #1 ***************** Examination Fees increased, and we were never told prior to the visit- The employee said there were new changes within the last month #2 the Nail Trim Fees also went up and never disclosed, we were also charged for the medicine for the ear infection. after paying cash to the vet, we were told the ear medicine was on order and it would be in the next day. I called the following day, and it was still not available. I then called the **************** CHEWY.COM and they had the Medicine for $20.00 cheaper so we requested the medicine, and I called the vet Office back to let them know to refund me the Money for the Medicine that I found it cheaper, and I would it the next day to my home. The Vet approved the prescription with Chewy.com and we received the medicine from Chewy. I am writing this complaint because I still have not received my refund from the vet for the amount of $79.44 that I paid in cash. I was also told that I would be able to come and pick up the refund, I was called back and told that I could only receive $50.oo in cash and the rest in the form of a check, then was called back and told that I would get the entire amount in the form of a check. I asked if I could pick up the check sense I live and work very close to the office and was told I could not pick up the check, they would mail it. I made a follow-up call today March 7th, 2023, and was told they have no ETA, and I would receive a phone call from the Office Manager. She never called.I would like to know when I will get my refund.
