As I was super setting my decline bench with shoulder latteral raises, a person goes to my bench and rests his arms and elbows on the very tip end of the bar of my bench with 205 on it!!! Fitness systems immature and young staff cannot comprehend how dangerous that is. the weight of his body could of swung the bar up and hit me as I was right next to the other side doing latteral raises. The unknowledgable and immature staff cannot comprehend again, how dangerous this is. as I was very angry and any one would be. I could have gotten seriously injured or killed. like imagine someone putting their body weight on your bench, but not just the bar but at the very end tip of the bar! I told the guy to take his hands off the bar, he said no why, no one is using it. im like dude im super setting ive been here for 5 minutes right behind you it could hit me are you stupid. He then begins to get in my face and says what what are you going to do, huh, what are you going to do. He ia a short man so imagine someone shorter than you in your face Chest bumpingg you and was saying lets go outsode lets go outside while in my face not moving away as im telling him too. so I pushed him like anyone would any human in this world would have done to protect myself.. The kids who run the club saw me push the guy out of my face - The guy was litteraly nose to nose to me and wouldnt get out of my face. the fact the ********** who works there saw the guy wouldnt step away is pathetic and immnature.. This is why every other club in **** have ADULTS working at all times. The kid manager does not understand how i could have gotten hurt. He mentioned he is 24. he should not be running an entire gym he is a kid who doesnt even work out. Any real gym goer knows you NEVER NEVER REST YOUR ARMS AND ELBOWS ON A BENCH BAR EVEN LESS SO AT THE *** END WITH WEIGHT ON IT!!!!!!! BUT AGAIN COMMON SENSE IS NOT COMMON FOR THESE YOUNG KIDS RIGHT? For discrimination and breaking their contract of a fair gym

      Re: BBB Customer Complaint ********

************************* filed this complaint in retaliation for being banned from our facility for physically assaulting another member. We have a zero-tolerance policy for violence or assault of any kind in our club, therefore we had no choice but to ban him from the club for pushing another member (which he admits to doing in his complaint).

The incident took place on July 6, 2024, and we collected written statements from the manager on duty, *********, who is very capable of overseeing the club and has been manager for over a year, as well as the member who was pushed by ****************, and another member who simply witnessed the incident. ****** reached out to the Vice ********** ************************ as well as the owner of the club, at the time of the incident to confirm what actions should be taken.

Please see attached statements from the victim involved, from manager ******, and the witness.

Finally, a refund request amount of $350 is completely arbitrary and unwarranted. As soon as we banned **************** from the club, we submitted a refund for his monthly dues of $50.96 that he had paid for the month of July. There is no reason or explanation as to why we would owe him any more than the July dues.

      Thank you,

      *********************, CEO

I was a member of the Fitness ************** for over a year since March 2021. In June 2022 due to some family's issues I had to cancel the contract, however, just 2 weeks later, upon family issue's resolution I asked the company to reinstall my membership. At that time I was at the gym location speaking with manager who presented me with a renewal contract which showed some charges in addition to my monthly membership charges. I asked what are those charges, and a manager assured me, repeating several times, that I will not be responsible for those charges, that those charges are just for their personal, company's information, and as a client, I will only be charged regular monthly fees, which are $36. I was hesitant to sign and specifically asked what those additional charges are; I asked several times whether I will have to pay those additional charges, and a manager refused to explain those charges and assured me again and again that I will only be responsible for regular $36 monthly charges. Two months later, August 1, I noticed my credit card was charged $95. At the very same day I went to speak with the same manager, and, while recognizing me and knowing she purposely deceived me, she even refused to speak with me. She was extremely rude, unapologetic, when I asked for her full name, she told me it is none of my business. I believe someone like her, who purposely lies to customers and continuously deceives customers, someone who's actions have direct financial consequences for consumers, should have not been put in the position of athority. It is my firm believe that it should be a company's responsibility to make sure they have well qualified staff to handle financial matters with consumers. After I brought this matter to your attention, I want to make sure this company removes this particular manager from position of authority and starts paying attention to its company's morale while providing effective training to its employees.

      Hi ******,
We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication, and that the manager did not professionally handle your concerns. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and it appears we did not deliver here!
We were told that our VP has reached out to discuss the charge, and we're happy to hear she clarified. It also looks as though we have waived your September dues to make up for the inconvenience. We will also be speaking with the staff member in question now, and look at reorganizing our staff to make sure our customers are taken care of.
If there is anything else we can do, please let us know.
      Thank you,
      Fitness *****************
