For 8 years utilizing software with this company for tax purposes. Each year my account is set up to receive payouts after tax season. The first payout is in June and the last pay is normally in November. This year after my calculations I determined how much my pay out would be. After checking my account I learned the pay out was short. I contacted the sales Rep. *************************** and advised her my payout was short. At that point I was told by ******* she would look into it. She contacted me back the same day June 3rd and advised me that I was overpaid in 2023 along with other clients and asked if anyone had reached out to me to explain, I told her No and didn't have a clue what she was speaking about. I told her that was impossible. She says let me check on this and call you back. She calls me back and says if you look to the right of the attached agreement you will see a charge of $12 if you did not exceed 50 clients. After reading this I sent another email and told her that was incorrect ,because the footnote clearly states if a client exceeds 50 clients they will be entitled to a rebate of $12 and a rebate is clearly an incentive not a fee, so than she said well on the left side its says $33 for tax prep fee, I than asked her to explain what she was referring to because we had already discussed the reason I was charge $250 for 2023 instead of $150 from the previous years of which is the total on the invoice to be paid. The invoice total is always deducted from the payout amount. At that point I respectfully asked her to let me speak with the supervisor because at that point it seemed as though she was just calling out things. Bottom line I should have been charged $250 and was charged an additional $408. She said she would try to reach her supervisor (****) she called me back and stated they would contact me the following day, No call after 3 different attempts. Called at 12 pm told by an employer **** was on another call, tried again 2:46 est., again @ 7:29 p.m
