March of ***** I hired ********** Air ********** ******** **** to ******** floor furnace in three apartments units at ***** **** and **** ******** ** and install in each unit a ******* ****** BTU wall heater. As they were installing the heater's the city inspector was during their annual four (4) year inspection of the building. And ask where the permits are? ********** Air hadn't pulled the permit for the job. They put in the application and had a *********** with the permit office about apartment unit **** ******** ** they could not find it in their system for that ********** Air decided not to go any further they just stop and later said that they did not put the application in for the permits. They charged the owner ******* dollars saying that what the permits cost, fine she paid it by credit card. Come to fine out ******* of this year **** they hadn't paid not a cent then they lied and said the ******* was for the tech to out for the inspector. Finally, I paid the cost was on ****** for the permits they con her out of ******** not only that they not install the heater correctly I called for a final inspection the inspector fine they did not put a drip leg on heater's that was another violation now come to find out they install all the heaters incorrectly. Now they are refusing to come out to make the necessary correction and now have stop all communication. We have violation after violation because of this company they are not who they claim to be, make you wonder how many more unsuspected customers they have done this to? I went to ********** Air Conditioning Systems, Inc office n the morning and spoke with **** on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 to ask them if they could work on replacing my condo wall ******** The office sent ***** ****** the same day in the afternoon to look at my current wall heaters. ***** did all the ************ necessary of the current wall heaters and the holes on the wall which is 11 inch height and 16 inch length. I told ***** that i have been having trouble to find the exact heater size for the wall. ***** ******** that he could find me the exact size since this is his job and he knows how to get them. ***** promised without a shadow of a doubt that he would find me the exact ****** size of ****** height and ** **** ******* I didn't doubt him and we agreed on moving forward with the job with an entire job cost to be $*****. ***** asked for a downpayment of $825 which i paid. ***** never called me back and bout a week later I called ***** about the status of finding the right heaters. ***** responded that he was able to find the heaters and they are in the office and the installation can start soon. On Thursday, January 20, 2022, ***** sent his man Pablo with the heaters to be ********** I was surprised by the small nature of the new heaters when i saw them with ****** The heaters ***** **** were 8 **** ******* I immediately called ***** to inform him that he ordered the wrong heater and its about half of the exact size we agreed upon. Even ***** agreed with me that its the wrong size and very small. I told ***** that i could not take these small ******** ***** didn't install the heaters and took them back. I then tried calling ***** but he would not answer my calls. I called the office and spoke with with **** and she didn't want to resolve the issue and said they would not give me a full refund. She promised to give me only **** out of ***** She said i have to pay for the ********** **** I didn't agree to this and there is no document i signed about ********Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/03) */ *****, when ***** met with you and measured for the wall heater replacement he already advised you of the size and how it would look compared to your existing heater. The proposal sent to you on 01/12/2022 included the size of the Heater which you had specifically requested the dimensions prior to ordering the heater for confirmation. You confirmed the measurements. The heaters ordered and received were the exact same measurements as you had known and agreed upon. Once installed you did not like the way they looked which is your prerogative. California Air Conditioning honored and refunded your money deducting the restocking fee that the manufacture would charge us for. FedEx fees for the delivery of the heaters and the labor for installing and uninstalling the heater was not charged to you. California Air has been more than reasonable with you after you changed your mind about the heaters. No other payment is due to you. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The company's response is not satisfactory. I never agreed to the size of the heater the company brought for installation. I never signed any document and the company cannot provide any documentation proving my approval for the heater they got from Cadet. My wall space is 11 inch height and 16 inch wide and the company brought me heater about half the wide of the wall, and it will cost me almost a thousand dollars to the patching, which obviously doesn't make sense to install half size heater. The company also didn't say anything to me about restocking fee, and i never signed any document about restocking fee. It is very important to note that i didn't call off the work to be done, i only didn't approve the heater they got for me. They called off the work and then refused to give me my money back.
