The contractor's son and crew destroyed my floor, made my residence unsafe to live in until it was redone and caused damage to appliances, walls, etc all over the property. The owner agreed to repay after the HOA banned them from the building and then after agreeing to be repaid he claimed he could not afford to repay me. I am seeking repayment and damages to the property

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/24) */ The floor was not damaged. This is an exaggeration. There was Some areas of the Walls that had splash of epoxy but that was it. The floors could be fixed with no issues. The customer was advised through text messages and pictures every step of the way. He approved the floor but did not let us come back to rectify the small issues. He then filed a claim against my insurance which the insurance told me to leave it to them at that point. At that point. I'm pretty sure he got paid out and is trying to pull some kind of shady stuff. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) An insurance claim was opened with **** in Nov 2021 Claim Ref: AXXXXXXX I requested this for about a month from **** Hall and only after threatening to go to the state licensing department did he file a claim. I sent **** 25 emails between November and May and never had a response from the claims adjuster *** ***** I was contacted on May 20th and told *********** was now the adjustor. I sent her 5 or more emails between May and June requesting a reply and never was contacted back. I sent a final message requesting a reply otherwise I would report **** to the state insurance bureau. It was only then that I received a call back from Miss ******* In mid June Miss ****** called and spoke to me for an hour. She stated that she was overwhelmed and covering hundreds of case files and hadn't worked on mine. She saw the photos of the damage and read the agreement and told me that although **** *** and his company violated terms of my agreement and caused damage, that their policy would not cover the damage to my floor (only incidentals). She told me that in order to seek compensation for the floor (breach of the workmanship clause of the agreement), that I would need to go to the ***, state contractor license department and/or court. My *** ****** **** and his company from entering my building again and they weren't permitted to redo the work and fix damages after his crew acted in unprofessional way in the building. Making a mess that I personally was called home to clean up, getting epoxy in the common areas and elevator of an historic building, yelling and horesplay in common areas, urinating on not cleaning the toilet afterwards, among other professional issues. Despite ****'s attempt at ******** me in his ********* I have not received a penny from the insurance company and have no hope that they will pay out. Furthermore, the majority of the damage is in fixing **** ***'s professional *********** Furthermore, this is a legitimate grievance, I hold professional securities & insurance licenses and designations in over 45 states and US territories and I Would not jeopardize my professional career and livelihood making a false claim. I am also prepared to request statements from my building manager, Mr. ******* (witness from when ********* flew into town to personally witness his company's damage and cc'd on all correspondence with **** discussing the damage and his agreement to repay me - see attachments), the second contractor from ********************* (they came in to provide assessment of the damage), and insurance adjustors at **** verifying a) they have not paid out to me, b) that ****'s liability insurance did not cover the floor damage and c) that they recommended if I seek repayment for damages ****'s company made to my floor that it will be up to court or arbitration to seek damages done by **** *** and Marble ************* Consumer Response /* (-5, 8, 2022/08/25) */ ***Document Attached*** Attached is communication between myself and the insurance company
