The cancelation process for this business is really long and cumbersome, I've been trying to cancel my wife's account with them for the last 8 months and they are still charging my credit card.Initial Complaint

I was fraudulently signed up for a membership in February of 2021. I have tried multiple times to have the membership cancelled. Management from the franchise requested copies of my ID, my signatures, and initials. They have sent me a copy of the membership agreement. They have admitted that the signature and contract is fraudulent, yet they have not stopped my membership. I have emails from the company going back and forth from last year. No resolution has come and I am still being charged monthly. I want to have all of my money refunded and an investigation placed.Initial Complaint

I originally signed a one year term contract authorizing Massage Envy to charge my credit card $70/mo beginning 11/2019 through 12/2020 at which point, according to the contract, I would be placed on a month to month basis or I could cancel my membership. Due to Covid, I beleive this business was closed for a number of months during this time. At the end of my one year agreement I called Massage Envy expressing my desire to Cancel my membership as my one year term was up and I would not be using their services due to the pandemic. I was told on the phone no problem and to send an email with my request. The only option a customer has to cancel a membership is through email apparently. Since my initial request on 10/13/2020 was not responded to I have requested them to cancel multiple times. They finally responded to my original request in May 2021 apologizing for not seeing the original emails and asked me to forward original emails again so she could submit my request. I did and since then they have only responded by saying I am not eligible to cancel my membership at this time as I was not charged 12 times (I'm assuming due to their store being shuttered due to the pandemic) However, at no time during my contract did I not tell them to not charge my Credit Card. They had between 11/2019 to 11/2020 to Charge my card as I authorized per the contract I signed. It is now approaching 2022 I have no intention of using their services due to the ongoing pandemic. There is no one I can speak to regarding this matter at Massage Envy besides email which has not resolved this matter thus far. I appreciate you help with this matter.
