      On 9/29/21, I went to do the final walkthrough of my new **, a 2006 Coachmen Concord. I was told that it was Ready. The first thing I did was look under the ** and I noticed that the muffler is missing. The business owner, ****, claimed to not know it was missing. I noticed an oil leak on the rear axel of the **. His response, But theres no leak on the ground, right? A chunk is missing on the sidewall of the left rear tire. They used tire shine on it but didnt notice the chunk missing? I checked the oil and its black. The blinds and drawers I was promised to be fixed, were not fixed. And finally, the transmission would make a loud noise when going from Reverse to Park. The owner became defensive and hostile once I brought up all the issues. They had no problem letting me walk away without buying the ** but I feel that they tried to sell me a lemon, hoping I wouldnt find the issues. The ** is up for sale again. I just want buyers to be aware of what seems to be a shady dealer.

      At RVMAX we always aim to deliver a great experience and also a great product. As you can see we are known for our outstanding customer service and taking ownership of any issues. We have been in business for over 20 years, providing great buying and purchasing experiences. We strive to make sure all of our customer leave feeling educated and confident in their time spent on either of our lots.

      Boltar, I would like to start by saying as soon as issues about the unit were brought to our attention, **** not only told you he wanted to fix them but he also said he doesnt expect you to take the unit.
      We werent aware of the issues that were addressed in your review.

      I would also like to point out that you brought your father with you who isnt a certified technician. So while some of your concerns were valid, he also pointed out things that we have had checked out since this incident that nothing was wrong with.. it seems as if you wanted us to come off the price of the unit, for all the issues you found. Which in reality, RVMAX wanted and has fixed the issues.

      The concern of the blind and drawer were fixed before you came in for your walk around on the unit. The drawer was in perfect working condition and the blind was wrinkled. But operational. We do not steam or iron fabric blinds. Blinds wrinkle over time and this motorhome is 13 years old. As far as the oil leaking from the rear differential that you and your father said was happening, in fact was not leaking. There is dry oil residue on the cover however the motorhome doesnt have any oil leaks.

      Also, I would like to address a part you oddly left out of this reviewwhen we followed up the next day to let you know the motorhome was going into the shop, ***** was met with threats, yelling, and irrational behavior while trying to explain to you what we were doing to make the situation right (still not expecting you to move forward with the sale, we just wanted you to be aware that we are taking the proper steps to make sure the unit was repaired correctly). You proceeded to yell, and then hung the phone up on her, not letting her speak. How is a business suppose to fix a concern between them and a customer if they arent given a chance to explain what they are going to do to make the situation right?

      Immediately after you didnt buy the unit, we removed our online postings and scheduled it to go into the shop for the issues we werent aware of. (You wouldnt know this because again, when we called you proceeded to yell and hang the phone **).
      ** conclusion, the units repairs have been done (with receipts) by certified shops. I can assure you that we will not be selling you any rv but someone will get to enjoy this quality motorhome and our outstanding customer service we provide at ********************.
