Date of transaction: Sep 1st 2022 The amount of money I paid the business: $150 What the business committed to provide me: A cake named "Slice of the Best: Passion Collection"Order number: ************ The request number I got from <********************************>: ***** Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: They only refund me $25 but I don't agree with this result.What the nature of the dispute is: On August 31st, I ordered a cake on the Lady M official website for the 1st anniversary with my husband. On Sept 14th, I received the cake however I found the plastic bucket which contains the dark chocolatewas broken. The dark chocolate was broken into small pieces and scattered throughout the box. Besides that, I also noticed he plastic wrap on the cake does not seal well. I highly suspect the air will leak in and speed up the rot of the cake. I immediately reached out to the customer representative via the phone but she said all the refund related stuff needs to be handled via the email. Then I followed the instruction to send an email to ********************************** Then I received an auto-reply saying that the email is being reviewed by our Lady M **************** Team and will reply to requests within 48 hours. I'm happy to do a replacement if they ship me a label and I can ship it back to lady M. But I receive nothing during the **************************************** during the weekend. On Sept 19th, I reached out to lady M proactively. Basically, they just blindly emphasize that they provide preservation measures. And I paid $150 not for an unexpired cake but for a fresh one. Usually a cake is only $50. I spent $150 and only got a cake that was not sealed intact. Moreover, they promise reply the customer within 48 hours but they didn't. They also said if I know the number on the box, they will refund me. I said I have already thrown the box away. There is no reason to keep an unsealed cake for 5 days. If they reply within 48 hours, I will know the number.
