      My name is Said from ***** and I work as a Freelancer Lawyer I have been paid the fee to attend a law conference in ***************** by the *********** ***************************** My credit card was charged $855, and I did not receive an invitation to attend I emailed the conference management, social media, and phone number, but no response I just want to invite or refund the fee Thanks

      We have advised ****************** several times that while his account may show that the transaction was approved, we never received any money from him or his bank.  Our merchant provider indicated that it may have been approved on his end but not on our end.  In looking at ********************** records, it appears that he created four separate member accounts with our organization.  He attempted to register falsely for our convention using a category that he is not entitled to use which would have given him free admittance.  He has never been charged by our organization nor have we received any money.  We have asked him several times to submit an actual credit card statement showing this transaction to show that it did, in fact, get charged and so that we can provide the transaction number to our provider.  He has failed to respond to this request.  According to our records there is no money to refund as no money was received.

      Thank you very much for your interest
      I know that BBB is only a means of communication between me and caala, and you cannot oblige them to refund the money.
      Therefore, I filed a complaint with my bank and filed an objection to this transaction in order to recover it.
      But I refuse to answer caala to you, and I want to assure you that the conference fees were sent from my bank to the caala account.
      I sent them a credit card account statement proving that, but they ignored my messages and I am not waiting for an answer from them.
      They are scammers and procrastinators in serving me or refunding my money
      I suffered a lot from them to receive an answer from them.
       You also did not receive an answer from them since I submitted the complaint to you on 30/5/2023, and you closed the complaint because you were unable to process it because Caala did not respond to you.
      Therefore, I submitted a complaint to you against them and a complaint to the ************************** in America, and I submitted an objection to the transaction with my bank.
      And for that, they had to respond to you to tell you that I am a fake person.
      I do not know how they understand the meaning of forgery in the law.
       They are organizing a legal conference that includes the great lawyers, judges and jurists.
      It is strange that the name of the conference in which I paid the attendance fee is (consumer attorneys association) and they are the first to be 
      accused of violating consumer rights.



      Send a credit card statement stamped with the bank's seal proving the transaction to the caala conference account
      Also, send a statement of account in pdf format for the credit card, proving the transaction to the account of the ********************** conference

      Once again, there is no credit card statement attached to any correspondence either to CAALA or the BBB.  Submitting an authorization is not the same as a bank statement showing the payment actually went through.  Just because a transaction is authorized does not mean that it went through and that the funds were received.  We have checked with our merchant provider who processes all of our credit card transactions and they verified that no payment was actually received.  They have requested from us, and we have requested from the consumer on several occasions a copy of the actual credit card statement which will show a transaction number.  If after receiving that statement with the transaction ID, we are able to locate the payment, we will immediately refund the money.  However, we cannot and we won't refund money that our bank and processor show has not been received.

      As far as the fake person comment by the complaintant, we have never made any comment to that affect.  What I said, and I can prove, is that they tried to register for our event several times, two of those times by using a rate category (Sitting Judge) which is free when in fact, they are not a sitting judge.
