I had a car accident at **************, ****************, so I pulled over. When I was trying to calm down and searched for the car repair shop nearby, a man talked to me saying that my car is not drivable, he says he works as mechanic and has a supervisor that can have my problem solve. He calls his supervisor and the supervisor also arrived and called to get me a tow truck to tow my car. He says the car will be sent to a car repair shop called Hooman Auto Repair (which is 2 miles away). He checked my car insurance information and promised that the insurance company will pay for the tow fee and the repair fee. After I got home l called the Hooman repair shop and they said my car was already at their shop. When l asked how much it cost they say it depends on the insurance company and other things. I called them again and nobody answered. I also submitted the claim to my car insurance company and was told that they won't cover it since I don't have a full coverage. The next day at 9am, l called again.***********, they tell me to call this number) The manager answered the phone and told me it costs **** usd for 1 day storage and the tow fee and will cost even more if l choose to get it fixed there, and if I'm not paying by today an extra 250usd/day storage fee will be added. I find it ridiculous and refuses to pay. He says l need to pay otherwise l wont get my car back. l asked him for invoice and he says he wont give me until l pay. I then go to Hooman. The person there says that they are only responsible for the registration and l can only call the manager or email him. I keep calling him, texting him and emailing him but he just repeat 2.1k then hang up my phone or doesnt answer. He finally answered my email around 2pm saying that We will work with you we will not continue to charge you everyday the car sits we can give you until next week to pay. He doesnt respond to my email nor picks up my phone after. So now I still need to pay 2.1k to get my car back.
