      Recent decisions by the company have completely changed my view. Charging for basic features after parents have already spent a premium on the hardware is both deceptive and unethical. What was once a highly recommended product now feels like a blatant cash grab, with essential features locked behind a new subscription. This approach damages both the product's resale value and trust in the company. I can't recommend the **** to any new parent anymoreavoid it if you can.

      Terrible company. They do not value their customer base. I can understand adding features and then charging a subscription to access them but to take away essential functions over night is evil and thoughtless. Like buying a phone and being charged to use the camera, or a mechanic breaking your car so they can charge you to fix it. At the very least they could give weaning and locking features back. This is taking advantage of sleep deprived parents!

      Shameless money grab putting the function of our 6 year old snoo behind a paywall. This is a company that relies on a product with no innovation since it's release who turns around and cries foul that they are getting beat up by the second hand market. Discounted out snoo to get rid of and will be finding an alternative sleeping solution for our next baby.

      The value of this product plummeted overnight now that Happiest Baby is charging for features that used to be free after spending $1700. If you want to change the terms for new units going forward, that would be fine however I expect the features to continue to work for me and anyone that buys it after me. For a product built on trust youve completely destroyed it.

      Bought the Snoo thinking specific features were included in the purchase price, later to find they have put them behind a $20/mo subscription paywall. Really disappointment with this company. Feels like bait and switch. I highly recommend going with a different product.

      Happiest baby blocked core functionality features behind a $20 per month paywall as a revenue grab and explicitly to surpress the second hand market for their product. We bought our Snoo for $800 used (msrp is now ~1700) 4 years ago and are using it with our 2nd kid because it is a way to save money and reduce waste. Now I can no longer wean my child off of the product's core motion feature. When you buy hardware you expect it to work as described - with all the orginal features accessible. The removal of two key features for users of secondhand Snoo's is unacceptable. The two features in question are 1. level lock (the ability to lock it at a certain speed so it doesn't just turn off in response to repeated crying) and 2. weaning mode (which turns it so that it only provides motion if the baby cries and is otherwise still). Both are critical to having the device do what it is supposed to do - help your child learn to sleep (go to sleep and stay asleep). Without the ability to keep the device on a certain motion sound mode and then later ***** them off the motion, the device does not actually function for the intended purpose. I recommend going with a competitor.

      I purchased a snoo in 2021 with the idea that a snoo is an investment, when a smart bassinet costs +$1500. Happiest baby is valued at millions of dollars but they decide to switch their app on thousands of parents and put basic functions behind a paywall of $20 a month to make more money off of tired parents. At the very least they should offer existing snoo customers free "premium" subscription or a buy back option. Their customer service has been notoriously awful and it clearly shows that Happiest Baby doesn't care about parents or babies, just their wallets.

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent update to the Happiest Baby app, which now requires a subscription service to access basic functions such as volume control, motion lock, weaning mode, and connecting multiple Snoos for twins. These are fundamental features necessary for the effective use of your product, and it is unreasonable to charge extra for their use. The requirement of the subscription service specifically targets those who cannot afford to purchase the product from anywhere but directly from Happiest Baby or wish to purchase second hand for for financial or environmental reasons. I think this company disadvantages low income mothers and families of young babies disproportionately. Their money grabbing schemes and moral standard are deplorable.

      We bought our Snoo in April of 2024. We loved our snoo and our baby also loved her snoo. Im very upset about the once FREE app that was advertised is now going to be a monthly subscription. The company advertised a FREE app for buyers and now is charging for you to enjoy all features of the app. Then in June of 2024, we were told that we were only going to have a Free app for the duration of this current baby + 9 months for your second baby. My subscription expires in January 2025. I just had a my first baby in March of 2024. I wont be able to use the free app for my 2nd child unless I am already 5 months pregnant (which Im not) with my now 5 month old! It definitely has had me discourage many parents on purchasing such an expensive product because of the fact that app is no longer free. I wish that Happiest Baby would go back to the free app if the bed was purchased from them directly (like mine was.)
