This complaint is against Quickmed Diagnostic, **** for recently sending me, a fraudulent Covid testing medical bill of $500 (acct ********. I unexpectedly received the Quickmed Diagnostic *** bill of $500 on 23 March 2024 which is nearly three years after the reported Covid testing service on 27 August 2021.I immediately contacted QuickMed to inform them that their billing is erroneous because I paid the cost $75 in full at the time of Covid testing service by Sameday Testing on 26August 2021 with the understanding there was no other known costs. I immediately contacted my ****************** Blue Shield (BCBS) health insurance which informed me they denied the recent QuickMed claim of $500 because no medical record was submitted, and this claim received in January 2024 exceeded the acceptable window (1 year plus remaining calendar year) for medical claim submission.Upon communicating with QuickMed by email to understand the unexpected billing of $500 nearly three years after the service, their email responses were unsatisfactory, and their emails immediately disappeared upon opening their response. I screen saved their email responses before they disappeared.Internet research showed numerous complaints that Quickmed Diagnostic *** was sending fraudulent *************************** the amount $450-500, and Quickmed Diagnostic *** is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau as a trustworthy company.Internet research also showed that SameDay Testing and QuickMed Diagnostics **** had a recent $26 million settlement with the Superior Court of California (Case 23SMCV02246) for fake Covid tests. For the above reasons, I have diligently obtained facts that show the QuickMed bill of $500 appears to be fraudulent and violates my consumer right to appropriately be informed of costs at the time of service.Sincerely, ******************************Initial Complaint

I received a medical bill dated 3/15/2023 for a total of $1,500.00 from Quickmed Diagnostic, **** The bill was listed as due upon receipt and had information to pay by phone, online, or mail. It was charging for 3 separate COVID-19 tests that were completed over 12 months before I received the bill. I had not received any paperwork on communication in the 12 months from when testing was completed until receiving this bill. When I had the testing done, I provided my insurance information (CareFirst BCBS). The tests were completed on 1/06/22, 1/19/22, and 4/02/22 and they charged $500.00 for each test. As we know, COVID-19 tests were legally required to be covered and free for everyone to encourage testing and reduce the spread of the virus. Luckily, I knew this information and refused to pay, but this is predatory billing as I am sure many others who did not know any better paid the bills to avoid collections. I have received no further communications from Quickmed to collect or to inform me that the bill was sent in error.Initial Complaint

got an email yesterday from QuickMed Diagnostics, saying there's a billing issue from two years ago. needed a convid test two years from (sameday health) due to travel. guess they used quickmed for actual test.was given a link to fill out insurance info and stated if not resolved, will be sent to collections within 7 days. if there's problem, call this number **************, but no one answers the phone. also tried sending email to ************************************* again no answer. left about a dozen voicemail and email since yesterday. there's no answer. no answer from sameday health either.this is cover by my health insurace, which I gave to sameday health two years ago. I even paid $25 to do the same day turn around.what terrible outfit they're running. I stated in the email and voicemail, if they want to get billing issue resolve, call me!having a phone number to call, with out anyone answering does NOT do any good. samething with email that isn't answered. both email and voicemail stated I'll get answer within one business day. but it's almost two days. still no callback from neither company, nor email answered from neither companyInitial Complaint

Quickmed has billed me multiple times for Covid-19 testing that is fully covered under my health plan with Blue Shield of CA (additionally my coworkers on the same plan that went to get work-mandated tests with have never received any bills). I have spoken with both Blue Shield and with Quickmed and still have no resolution despite being told on multiple occaisions that it is being sorted. Blue Shield has sent me checks which do not cover the amount Quickmed says I owe. I received an email today that Quickmed may send my bill to a collection agency within 7 days which is both baffling and infuriating.
