Over a month ago her passtime failed. She had called in and tried to resolve herself. This did not work, only certain mechanics work on the system and will not touch it due to tamper laws. She has accrued well over $2000 dollars in shuttle and travel expenses as she has a medical need and the vehicle is her only way of getting to the doctor. She aslo has young children and they have missed out on many activities and the summer, with no transportation. Lastly, her job is being affected as she cannot make it into the office consistently. Please see the attached screenshots of the diagnostic done by a mechanic that was paid to come to the home, towing adds up real fast. There is power to the unit as verified by Passtime when I talked with them, which is why you are being notified this will need to be replaced or to be taken out, The unit is no longer allowing power to the ignition and is inop. Will not pass current to start the vehicle. I had the mechanic scan and as you can see power to and nothing to ignition. This needs to be fixed and or replaced. The next step is to file in court if you do not acknowledge this email and correct it. I will await your response.Review from Daniel W

Please, please, please do not use Westlake Portfolio Management to finance anything. They do not disclose that they are putting you on a lease. Then when you call to get a payoff they do not disclose that its a lease. Then on top of your payoff amount you owe a $3000 purchasing fee that they still dont disclose. They will not release your title until you pay the $3000. Refuse to use Westlake Portfolio Management if any merchant tries to get you to finance with them! They are dishonest on the front end about the financing product youre purchasing. They will not disclose the type of financial product they have put you in. They will not disclose their purchase fee on the front end or when you go to get your payoff. After you pay your payoff you will still owe a $3000 fee to actually get to own your car. Westlake Portfolio Management are dishonest and bad business! If not for me do it for yourself and go somewhere else that does not use WestLake Portfolio Management.Review from Jeffrey M

They repossessed my vehicle after I had made a payment two weeks before and lied to me saying they had no record of the payment, despite my sending them a Screencast of the transaction and a transaction ID number, they never contacted me except for collection calls saying they wanted payment after they repossessed the car and were going to sell it at auction, their people are very rude even combative over the phone and they threaten you.Review from Catherine K

Bought a car through US Auto Sales in 2022, had nothing but issues with, 2015 Chrysler 200C which was also financed through US Auto Sales and had a valid warranty. Per receiving an email on the same date and not 30 days' notice to advise that US Auto Sales has closed and forwarded our account to ********************, which is illegal due to not informed timely, we did not sign a contract with Westlake for our auto loan and it was in good standings prior to Westlake taking it over. We did eventually voluntary gave the car back which we have not heard anything about it being auctioned or anything therefore the full balance is still on our credit report. This was not done according to the Fair Debt Collections Act. On other note, once Westlake took all the auto loans from US Auto Sales, apparently our warranty was voided therefore no contract with Westlake and unlawfully transferred our account from US Auto Sales to Westlake without our written authorization.Review from Shun W

Awful company I have paid off my car and in November of ********************************************** my title would be on the way well that never happened I called them and asked when I would get my title the lady was very rude and stated that I need to be more patient it's the holiday season and the company is doing the best they can she told me to call back in January of 2024 in which I did and everytime I called they would hang up on me purposely So I called the tag office to get help and they told me westlake had a electronic sign hold on my title meaning they have to electronically release it after payment I told her i.paid my car off so.i called westlake back to ask them to release the electronic hold so I can get my title and they refused saying I still owe money I have proof of my final payment and proof of our phone conversation I am so ****** off because 8 months and I don't have my title they keep saying they will send out a letter and I'm never getting no letter I haven't moved or anything So know I'm getting a attorney what they failed to realize is that I record all of my conversation when speaking to them I just want my title why they have to be A*******Review from Liiban A

I have paid off my car with proof at end of my term and they're saying I still 4000 dollars to purchase the car out rite but it was included with the car note that the car salesman told me. I had purchased it from ******************* in *******, Tn. on 3/19/2019 the total $25,000 but in the 5 years paying for it was $30,000 so they really owe me money and going to file a civil case against them this weekReview from Gabby A

They are scam artists. I was offered a payoff amount with promises of proof that it was paid off. Fast forward a month and they refuse to send proof and refuse to let me speak with management for a resolution.Review from Krysta D

Awful company, called to pay off a small personal loan because they never update the payment history, making it look like you go 4-5 months without making a payment, and they hung up on me. Never called me back. I called back and asked if I could please have the payment history updated, they refused to update their records. I would absolutely avoid doing any business with this company.
