I pay into a minecraft server with other members of my group, so no, my name won't appear on a customer list, though my patronage has nevertheless been abused more than once. Data loss, slow customer service, and poor backup management seem to be the norm. My group's minecraft server was improperly moved resulting in significant loss of data once, and subsequently the automatic backups failed without any notification from the company, resulting in data loss a second time when the world had to be migrated again.Review from Jake J

Survival Servers are a total rip off. Was looking into getting a server for Ark, and it just won't start at all. Support hasn't contacted me at all after sending a ticket. After seeing all the bad reviews about how they overcharge and refuse to refund, I'm not even set on trying to get my money back. I mean even looking at their responses to BBB complaints here, it seems like they're run by a bunch of twelve year olds.
I just hope people can avoid buying anything from these people ever. It's a scam, don't give them a dime.

We don't have any customers matching the name "Jake Johnston" - very clearly a fake reviewer. Also we don't deny refunds so this just is a very suspicious review and should be taken down.Review from Steven C

To preface this review I'd like to note that I came to SurvivalServers from one of their competitors- Nitrado. When it comes to game server hosting, Nitrado isn't even close to the best, but they're for sure the cheapest. That being said, you get what you pay for. So, with this in mind, I decided to take a bit of a **** up in terms of pricing figuring I'd get something better. This was not the case.
I've heard good things about SurvivalServers in the past but so far I haven't had a good experience. I paid up front for six months to use a game server. At the time of writing, I still haven't been able to do anything with it. When I first completed the payment and was redirected, there was a little notice that said it could take about 15mins for the setup to complete. It's been over an hour now with no change. Additionally, the server won't even start up and the web interface for my server isn't accessible.
I attempted to initiate an FTP session to find the logs myself so I could try and figure out what was wrong, but upon connecting, the target directory was 100% empty. On top of that, their servers apparently don't support TLS, but since there wasn't any super-sensitive information I figured, "Oh, what the heck... Let's do it." Anyway, like I said, it hasn't worked.
The most frustrating part is that I can't contact support about my issue... Seems really suspicious that I haven't been able to get to their support page. It should never be this difficult to reach support for any reason. I've tried navigating to their support page at this point about eight or nine different times now from four different browsers and still no luck. The page just stays blank and never loads. I even switched off my VPN just to see if that made a difference and it hasn't.
I'm pretty bummed out. At this point I've paid $78 for a product that doesn't work, and I can't even get support to have them help me figure out the problem...
