The company put a lien on our home claiming they delivered concrete and paved driveway but they did not. My neighbor recently got his driveway paved. I called the company and notified them but they refused to correct the issue and instead accused us of trying to steal the product.Initial Complaint

On October 10 I ordered cement from IC&P. Cement came an hour later that was suppose to and the moment that they tried to pour the cement into the hose, there was a problem and it got clogged at the point of entry (I have this on video from our security cameras). They spent an hour to try to unclog hose and when they finally did (its again on camera), half way down their hose got clogged and exploaded all over my house, washer, drier and plants. They then spent another 20 mins trying to clean the clog while MY workers cleaned up the mess caused by them and hand poured buckets of cement to where cement was suppose to go. After numerous more attempts and more clogs, the first area that was suppose to have the cement was finally filled (by hand of my workers and partly by their hose). The second destination of the cement was further down the hill and when when they connected the hose extension and tried to pump, no cement came out. They then spent another hour trying to figure out where the clog was and during this time all the cement in their hoses dried and hardened. I called and texted the female owner of the company during all this happening multiple times and she instead of dealing with their issue became aggressive and combative. I only received less than half of what I ordered and a quarter of what I received is all over my yard and flowers. I offered to pay for the amount of cement pumped which was half of the cement ordered but they refuse to take my payment and keep threading me that they will place a lien and foreclose my home. They have cost me thousands of dollars in labor and I still have my stairs ruined and one side of my houses whole stucco is ruined. Additionally I have to get all of this dumped cement off of my property and pay to have it removed and pay workers to carry this heavy cement and break it up. Thats all over my front yard. I will not pay for damages that were not caused by me. I will pay only for the cement that was received.Business response

On October 10 2023 9:31AM ******************** ordered cement of **** PSI for her property in *********** at 1PM. We had delivered numerous occasions to this property under her contractor ********************* whom had always overseen the jobsite and hardly had any issues. Previously we had an incident with our hose clogging up due to the amount of ft of hose they use. We are not contractors we are material suppliers and rent out our pump to contractors. They are in charge of the end of the hose not our employees. The previous encounter I had with Ms *** I had refuse to keep on offering our services because she always had an excuse on why not to pay. She was always very rude and unpleasant to communicate with. Our services were always provided to *********** as he was responsible for the jobsite and knew the work that he was doing. On Oct 10 when Ms *** placed the order she was scheduled between 1PM-3PM truck arrived at 2PM within the time frame she was told. We were not late. Ms *** failed to inform that she no longer had her contractor overseeing this jobsite and expected our workers to do labor for her. After numerous time explaining that , that is not part of our job she still doesn't seem to understand her negligence. The worker holding the end of the hose which were more than 250ft of hose is not a license contractor for concrete, she is not a licensed contractor for concrete. If she was she would understand how the contractor oversees and is responsible for the jobsite. Under our terms and conditions we are not responsible for any damages at the property or the psi that is ordered that is stated on our website and our paper invoices. This was not the first time we worked at this jobsite. I have record of her employees damaging our hoses, hour long conversations with her when she agrees to pay for damages her own workers caused. **** notices have been sent out as I do not waive my right to lien the property if not paid for the material delivered, wasted and our hoses. We will pursue legal action as that is our right as a company that is stated on our terms and conditions.
