In April 2020 I received a call from National House of Finance about my student loans for ***********************. They told me my loans would be discharged by September if 2020. When I followed up with them through email because no one was answering their phone, I was told due to everyone working from home it was taking a little longer. Since then the phone number or email addresses work. I paid them *** a month for nine months.Initial Complaint

I paid $**** for this company to file with the Dept of Education on my behalf in regards to student loan forgiveness (should be noted on the phone ***** kept saying they were with/working with the Department of Education, I'm guessing to sell a false sense of security that this business was legitimate). I paid it over 6 months, and was told to expect to see/hear results or decisions 90 days after my final payment. Final payment was April 1, 2021. It is now November, 2021, and cannot get in contact with the ***** ***** who contacted me, or the general info/help email address available. My email tells me it cannot send because the email address can't be found. As far as I can tell this business is nothing more than a scam, wasting people's money, as I have not heard anything from them or the department of education still. Wish $** didn't substantially matter to my wallet/family's finances, but it does. And the fact that they didn't do what they said they would, is absolutely disgraceful, scummy predatory tactics to prey on people desperate to get help and better their financial situations.Initial Complaint
