Starting in fall of 2023 I received an email with subject line Bank and ************ Contacts. After several months of back and forth emails and parring down the list to President and CEO's of what I understood were 5000 President and CEO's of Banks and ************s I received a list of President and CEO's of not only Banks and ************s but ***** President and CEO's of wealth management, mortgage company's, etc. When I requested a partial refund I was told that the invoice and last emails specified Financial. I consider this to be a bait and switch tactic because the subject line of the email specified Bank and ************s. When I requested a bill adjustment I received no response.

I placed a marketing list order with ClientsData on 10-12-2023 (Order #ASV ******) for ***** records for a specific target market. I received 300 records to start on 11-03-2023 and more than 75% were unusable. Incorrect information on records (phone numbers, titles, email addresses). I spoke to ***************** and he said they would correct the errors and send me another list of the next set of records that were due to me. *** would answer his phone and make up an excuse of why I have not received the list, but that he would send the list to me within a couples days or whatever excuse he would come up with. It is now 02-20-2024 and I am still trying to follow up for the remaining ***** records he owes me. This morning he said he would resend the list (saying he already did, but he never had sent it) and of course I still haven't received it. Now he is not answering my calls at all. Horrible customer service and horrible quality data.

On October 5. 2022, I purchased a marketing list of $5,000 contacts from this business. The cost was $1,000, and the salesman was *****************. I was specific about what I wanted: Target vertical = manufacturing, Titles=CIO, CISO, CTO, ******** of Information Technology, Information Security ******** ******** of **************** Chief Compliance Officer and Geographic area=Virginia. The list was sent on November 10, 2022. On the surface, the list looked okay. However, when I first used it in the fall of last year, a fifth of the contacts bounced. By January, I knew from use that this was a bad list, and I complained to the saleman that it was utter trash and entirely unusable by us. He ignored my complaint. I complained again in March and then in April, saying that I would take my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Again, he failed to respond to me. Essentially, this company took an ordinary list of contacts in Virginia (not all manufacturing) and changed almost all of the titles of people and the types of companies to fit my specs. For example, President and CEO was consistently changed to President and CTO. People who have nothing to do with the world of IT had their titles changed to something specific in IT to fit what I said I was looking for. Since the beginning of the year, it has taken hours to clean up this list. I am having to research almost every single company because of this gross deception, and its astounding. A director of meetings and events was changed to chief information officer. Someone who actually is a government affairs director gets the label of chief information security officer. I can provide a number of photos of proof and more specific examples upon request, but I have attached some initial examples. This has taken nearly a year to unravel. To date, my request for a full refund has been wholly ignored by this company. They are grossly deceiving businesses like mine and ripping them off by selling bad marketing lists.

On 9/30/22, I had agreed to buy an email database list from ********* at Clients Data. For $500, I was to receive 1,500 emails of people **************************************************************************************************** resorts have a revenue of over 2 million dollars per year. On 10/14/22, I sent a check in (which was subsequently cashed) in the amount of $500. As soon as payment was received, the list was supposed to be immediately emailed to me. As of November 8, 2022, I have not received the list. My client - ********* - mentioned it would be emailed to me by 11/1/22. The last communication I had with him was on 10/28/22. He has not responded to my latest 4 emails. There is no physical number to get through - just a recorded voicemail.

Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2022/11/22) */ This case has been resolved. Info USA did provide a list on 11/09 after I had requested a refund. There are some bad emails on the list that they said they will be replacing.
