Our son ******************************* was admitted to your 1 Method LLC for drug abuse on June 10, 2023. We paid $42,500 for one-month of services, but then ******* was discharged after sixteen days in the facility because he was using inappropriate language and promoting drug use. They refuse to refund any amounts paid.However, a credit was offered if ******* is later re-admitted back into their program an unrealistic scenario under the circumstances. According to the policy on their website (which is questionably enforceable), there are no refunds if an individual leaves treatment. Here, ************************* did not leave but was discharged. Based on 1 Method LLC own policy, a partial refund would be due.However, We have additional concerns beyond their policy(ies) in the way they handled this transaction. They run a drug rehab center. They were informed of ******** challenges and assured us that their company could handle/take care of *******. The day before they discharged him, with staff complaining about ******** behavior, ****************** the owner again reassured us that everything would be ok.Despite this assurance, he then discharged him the next day, with one hour notice to us. However, this is not a level of care letter this is a did they earn all the money they charged for? letter. My perspective: they promised the world, knowingly took our money,performed less than 25% of the promised service, and now want to keep all of the money. Under the ********************** Code, **** 1 Method is operating under what appears to be unlawful business practices. We are asking for a refund of the $42,500, as this Center did not care for our son. Instead, they put us in a stressful situation by just calling us about his behavior but not providing the promised treatment.
