      I am very unhappy with how things were handled in the La fitness seacliff location. I have completed 98 classes. Anytime that I cancel late, I am charged $10, if I were to not show up, Id be charged $15. However, for most of December and January, most 10:30 am classes on Monday were canceled. When I signed up, I let management know that 10:30 classes were the only ones I could do as I have little kids & requested they add more 10:30 classes for Wednesdays and Fridays. So now there were 3 classes week missing 10:30 am slot. Last month, I come to the gym with my kid and there is no notice, the class disappears off the schedule. I got ************ ready & drove to the studio. I wasted my time and effort. I tried for weeks to get a hold of someone, I filled out inquiry forms twice, called, sent emails & left voicemails. This happened AGAIN twice when I had both kids with me. No notice and last wednesday 20 minutes before class. Thats four classes canceled less than 30 minutes before they start. If I were to do that, it would have been a $15 charge per time ($60 total). This doesnt even include the inconvenience of almost every other monday canceled since December. I spoke to the manager last week **** or something I cant remember and she apologized for all this and acted like she didnt get all my means of communication (voicemails, inquiries, email) and btw I saw the trainer with my own eye text her to call me back when I asked and she didnt. She offered me a free month for March to make up for this. I accepted. I had also got my friend to sign up and she too experienced the inconvenience of lack of monday classes as well as the cancellations. The manager told me she would do the same for her. Then today, club Pilates officially leaves and its La fitness. I have no proof of agreement for a free month, no compensation for my ********* kids time and inconvenience, nothing. I am beyond furious and believe I am entitled to compensation. Horrible customer service

      My account was frozen on July 9th received confirmation and everything stating my account was frozen. Yet I was charged the monthly on July 25th. When I stated in email I wanted to cancel membership for good they reply with an Ok and nothing more. Yet when it comes down to wanting my refund back for the month they refuse to acknowledge my card shouldn't have been ran because my account was frozen. Then they use the excuse of I can't be frozen and cancel at the same time. When nowhere in there policy does it state that. Just about the 30 day minimum cancellation. They tell me this after the fact my card was ran unauthorized. Instead of telling me this information when I emailed them to cancel. And reading all the other reviews of people getting scammed as well. Horrible company to do business with. Customer service clearly isn't a priority for this company just money. Never would recommend this franchise to anybody.
