I decided to join Crunch in June and really loved going there, the staff was super friendly too. about 2 weeks in their AC broke down, I went there and it was steaming hot, I almost passed out while working out. I decided to stop going and they tole me 2 weeks later that it was fixed, once I got there it was only fans here an there but definitely not fixed, the manager said " it's actually only partially fixed" so I stopped going and had to work out from home. My card expired so I got a message saying my account wast past due, I told them on the phone many times that I couldn't workout in these conditions and I hadn't returned since then, but they didn't cancel my membership and kept sending me automated messages for my balance due. I haven't stepped foot in there since the summer and now I'm getting a debt collector messaging me that can affect my credit score. I tried calling the collecter to explain the situation they said, "Call when you can pay" and hung up on me. I see on the BBB page of the collector that they're incredibly rude with all Crunch customers. The business had a major issue (AC in a gym is super important), I couldn't go and now they're asking me to pay for all these months that I thought I was cancelled and assigned me a debt collector. I'm shook.
