I bought a blue ******* Thomasville **** rug, 710 by 10, for around $215 at ****** around July 26. We had the rug approximately one week. Noticed purple stain from rug on grandsons outfits, hands and feet. Also same stain on our feet and clothes. Stain/dye also was on the walls and wood floor from grandson. Would not wash out. Took the rug back (thought stain was from blue dye in the rug) and purchased two Thomasville rugs in grey for around $430. At home, within a few days, noted again purple stain on babys clothes that wouldnt wash out. Had to take the rugs back to ****** and told customer service why we were returning the two rugs. I contacted via email (twice) ** Gertmenian detailing the problem. I heard nothing in return. We have ruined clothing, flooring, and walls. We rent, so we will lose our damage deposit for the purple stains on the floor and walls. And we cant wear the stained clothing.
