I am a member of ** care coverd insurance I did a survey on there website *************************** which on website said if I complete survey they give 40$ gift card I complete the survey they get my personal health information and they dont give gift card I have a proof this is fraudInitial Complaint

DEAR BBB, I am asking for you help with our health insurance policy. We have been with LA Care Covered ***************** And this current year, we had made 2 payments with LA Care and they still said we had not paid them, We made a credit card payment on Nov 28, 2023 ($1,173.82) & another Jan 11, **** ($1,173.82). Since then, we have been trying to get medications from ****************** and it's still says coverage is not active. we had call multiple times to LA for assitance and no one is able to help us. we had asked to speak to a manger and no one has gotten back with us. This is an urgent matter because we need to pick up our meds from the pharmacy. Our policy # *********. LA Care is taking money from us and stating they have not see anything and all the representative that we have spoken could not help us.Initial Complaint

This is concerning a claim for my son, ************. I took my son to see a doctor and get a strep test on 5-23-23, and the office (****) billed LA Care for the services (claim #*****E007453). ** Care denied the bill, stating that he has a different primary insurance. I called member services and explained that LA Care is the only insurance he has had, and that this is completely incorrect. A grievance was filed (ref #******), and after a month and a half LA Care responded saying that the claims department has closed this claim because I informed them that there was a different primary insurance. I don't know how anyone can read the grievance and come up with that as an answer. LA Care is blatantly and fraudulently trying to deny payment for a covered service.Initial Complaint

I claimed the reimbursement for Covid-19 rapid test kits on 2/24/22 for the month of February thru email and got the receipt confirmation. I received a letter later saying I have to submit both my credit card statement and invoice. (I already submitted the invoice on 2/24/22) Then I mailed out the copies and also emailed. On April I called them to follow up the case status, the customer rep said she can see my claim but ask me to submit the receipts. I sent the receipt the first day already dont know what's going on. It has been almost 2 months I have not received anything on my claim.
