I paid them back in October of 2022 for certificate of rehabilitation for price of $999 dollars once I paid no calls no emails now ignore all my phone calls and emails just took my money disappeared on me.... basically they just stole my money blocked me... I saw this company advertise on my email account. I was interested in an expungement. I clicked the link. I called the company. They explained the process. I paid **** in total. It was in one sum. They said the fee was so high because there were two separate issues to file for the expungmenet for. Over the first year they did actually get an expungmenet done. This gave me faith in their promises. The second one they said was denied but that they would be following through which was great. I tried emailing the company today after 6 months of not hearing back from them on the second issue. Due to the first time they were next one successful in the expungmenet I beleived they'd be capable of the next one. I have not heard back and am concerned it may be a scam.Initial Complaint

On July 28, 2021, I contacted Expunge America to expunge a case for me. The court filed a petition for dismissal and they had a hearing August 23, 2021. They said due to the global pandemic the court takes longer than usual to process. They Expunge America said as soon as they have a update they would let me know. This is a letter from them. I contacted them a few months later, I talked to one of the clerks and she said it is sitting on the judges desk to be signed. This was the last contact from them. I continued to email them and call. I received no response. I have been emailing calling, but they wont communicate with me. I have been very patient with the company. I wrote them demanding an answer. Since there has been no communication from them, my recourse is to complain with the BBB. Expunge America has failed to do the work promised and the ethical violation of no communication. They have on the website money back guarantee. I gave Expunge America 2 weeks to respond. Which is today January 8, ****. I am going to the state bar of ********** based on the continued failure of Expunge America to respond to my attempts at contact. And I feel the Lawyers of Expunge America has not intended to refund the money or continue the process, to expunge my case. I talked to ******* the representative whom screened my case and assured me it would go through.Initial Complaint

I contacted Expungeamerica to have a ****************************************************************************************************** all the information they needed and fill out all the paperwork they had for me to do. I paid them the first day $599.99 for what they said would cover everything and would *********** to 8 weeks. After do all the paperwork and being ensured everything was ready to be filed I waited around 8 weeks and then did a little more digging into their company and found it could *********** to 8 months to finish. So I continued to wait and after contacting them several more times with no response at all I am out of options and am just out the money with no product or service having been paid for. They appear to be a legit company but doing other research this is not the first time they have done this. I waited a couple more months hoping they would actually come through and do what they said and now it is just over a year from when I paid them and going on 6 months from the last time I was able to get any communication from them. I will be filing a complaint with my bank as well but doubt they will be able to do anything since it is so far from when it was paid.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to get contacted after finding out through the court that the court has not received a request for expungement. They say 6 week process its been a year and a half and I havent been able to reach anyone In 3 months all I get is a generic message.Initial Complaint

COMPANY NAME: Expunge America DATE OF TRANSACTION: 11/16/2022 AMOUNT OF MONEY: $475.00 Business committed to provide expungement of my case within 6 months with a 30 day followup on status.This company stopped responding to me after *********************************************** which i did so. After 2 months of emails they stopped responding to now both forms ofcompunication.I believe this is fraud and i believe legal malpractices as there is a man by the name of *************************** who took my payment via PayPal and acted as an attorney who will take my case.The company stated via email on March 20, 2023 someone by the name of ******* generated my petition. On March 23, 2023 i received a emails stating the attorney reviewed and approved my petition and provided a file number for petition to seal. Paid $999 for company to aid in expungment of record (receipt attached). They missed my court date completely. I have emailed and called multiple times and have not received any response. I paid and nothing was done.
