      Sent *********************** $15,000 for 2 product's. I started this process in late 2021 with a 50% deposit and promises of deliveries. It is now March 20, 2023 and this individual/company stopped replying as of Jan 25, 2023. If you do a little research on other forms ******** or simple ****** search) you will find there are multiple instances of them receiving customers money and not delivering products. I've been a business owner for over 25yrs and this type of fraud is unacceptable. I was a repeat customer and did not anticipate any issues but I'm currently in the process of filing lawsuits to recover money or delivery of product.

      December 2022 my wife and I completed a purchase online for approximate $4000 for 1 item. For weeks following purchase, the owner, ***********************, kept giving us excuses for delayed shipping. Last week, **** stopped replying to texts or direct messages entirely. Only after getting the assistance from friends in social media did **** finally decide to reply, and as expected, with more excuses for delays. Now we are only asking for a return of the funds, and even that **** asked for 2 weeks to refund (through Venmo - same as purchase was made). When we refused to accept his timelines, he stopped replying again.

      I talked to **** about making Payment plans for an item I wanted to Purchase, and he agreed to let me do so. I paid **** for 3 months using Venmo starting on June, July, and August. When the payments were complete **** sent me an email on August 15 asking for my address where to send the item, he also mentioned that ******* was going to be done with product that day and send it out. That was the very last email I got from **** was on August 25th listed below is what **** sent me. I am also sending the 12 transactions that I paid **** on Venmo. He sent me another email asking for my address again and telling me to be patient. So, after all of that **** completely shut me off and hasn't emailed me ever since. I paid **** ******* dollars for this item. I have bought from him before, and I did receive my item. I don't know why this time is different. I am Disabled with a learning disability and don't understand things that ******, lastly, I even tried calling his place of business, but nobody answered, I even called another company with the same last name as the artist they ******* up told me we do not have any connection with the Scary Closet. But some of the videos posted by **** say otherwise of the artist ******* coming out of the building more than once. What I would like is My money back or the Product that I paid for

      I purchased a large order from The Scary Closet in March of 2019 at the cost of ******* and have yet to receive the remaining two items. I have been in constant contact with **** *******, owner, who keeps promising me that these items will be shipping soon and it has now been over 3 years and still nothing. I am now unable to call him as he disconnected his cell phone number. Below is a list of items ordered, received, and what is pending: ****************************** Doll - received *** Tricycle - received ***** painting - received ********************* Doll - received *************** Doll - received Pending receipt ************ Clown Regan *************************** I have also received messages, via ********, from others who are also waiting to receive their items. I even saw **** live, via Instagram, and asked for an update where he acknowledged items will be sent out within the next few weeks. I also submitted a Fraud report to FTC though no response from them.

      I am filing this complaint against The Scary Closet because I was defrauded out of almost $**** from this man, **** *******, who is the owner of the company. Last year, and the two years before that, I commissioned **. ******* to make one of his 1:1 scale figures from the film, Fright Night. The figure was a bit over ***** dollars and he kept sending me photos until I saw the finished product. The only problem was, over the course of several payments and promises, he never delivered the item. We had kept in communication with every last phone call being the promise that he would send my figure out, but that he couldn't because he was missing an accessory. IF YOU NOTICE IN THE PHOTOS, the PHOTO OF THE FIGURE PETER WITH CAPE IS DATED January 21, 2021. I told him I didn't care just to PLEASE send the item and during this time, I also, because I trusted him, sent me a deposit of ***************** life size PRE-ORDER for a Regan doll from the film The Exorcist. Apparently, *************** was going to autograph them. I don't think she, running a non=profit, would be too happy to know that **. ******* never delivered on his promise after being given a deposit. I will be contacting her shortly as well. At this point, after endless calls & texts and him ceasing all communication but continuing to do PRE-ORDERS for future orders on licensed characters & streaming his work on Instagram currently, I would just like a FULL REFUND. I stopped asking for the figure, I am just so fed up, my next course will be to take legal action. So I am asking the BBB to PLEASE step in and resolve this matter. I will not rest until I am due what is mine. I have been understanding and patient, and can't help but feel I have been a victim of fraud.
